REGULAR MEETING
Thursday, June 29, 2000 9.30 A.M.
Chairperson Theresa Colarullo called the Regular Meeting to order
in Commission Chambers at 9:30 A.M.
Deputy Town Clerk Jane Dillon called the roll. Present were
Chairperson Theresa Colarullo, and Members Judith Browner, Beverly
Barr and Abraham Futernick. Rosalind Gatewood was absent.
Building Official Bob Dawson was present, as well as members of the
general public.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Upon MOTION by MRS. BROWNER/MR)'. FUTERNICK, the Minutes of the May
25, 2000 Regular Meeting were unanimously approved.
NEW BUSINESS
PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR NEW SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 4323 TRANQUILITY DRIVE; APPLICANT: SOUTH SHORE HOMES
OWNER: DAN REYNOLDS
• Mr. Reynolds presented plans to the Board, and answered any
questions. After viewing plans, the following MOTION was made by
MRS;BROWNER/MR. FUTERNICK:

NEW SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4323
TRANQUILITY DRIVE; APPLICANT: SOUTH SHORE HOMES OWNER:

MOTION met with unanimous approval.
PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR PATIO ADDITION WITH ROOF; EXTEND LIVING
ROOM; ALTERATIONS TO INTERIOR BATHROOM AND CLOSETS. PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 2375 S. OCEAN BLVD; APPLICANT/OWNER: WILLIAM H. BAKER
Mr. Richard Robb spoke with the Board re plans, noting that there
will be no landscaping changes. After review of plans, the
following MOTION was made by MR. FUTERNICK/MRS. BROWNER:
THE COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD GIVES FINAL APPROVAL FOR
PATIO ADDITION WITH ROOF; EXTEND LIVING ROOM; ALTERATIONS
TO INTERIOR BATHROOM AND CLOSETS. PROPERTY LOCATED AT
2375 S. OCEAN BLVD; APPLICANT/OWNER: WILLIAM H. BAKER
MOTION met with unanimous approval.

Mr. Dawson presented application to the Board. With no concerns
expressed, the following MOTION was made by MR. FUTERNICK/MRS.
BARR:
THE COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD GIVES FINAL APPROVAL FOR
SIGN AT PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3960 S. OCEAN BLVD.
APPLICANT: BENNETT LIGHTING MAINTENANCE / ELLEMAR, INC.,
MARK ROTHENBERG.
MOTION met with unanimous vote.
PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR STOCKADE FENCE ON SOUTH PROPERTY LINE, FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4201 S. OCEAN BLVD. APPLICANT/OWNER: AUGUST
DIRENZO.
Mr. Sidney Blight explained that a chain link fence was being torn
down and will be replaced with a stockade fence on the South side
of property, to match with the stockade fence on the North side.
The following MOTION was made by MRS. BROWNER/MRS. BARR:
THE COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD GIVES FINAL APPROVAL FOR
• STOCKADE FENCE ON SOUTH PROPERTY LINE, FOR PROPERTY

MOTION met with unanimous approval.
It was noted that Mrs. Barr will be acting Chairperson at the July
meeting. With no further business to come before the Board, MOTION
to adjourn was made by MRS. BROWNER/MRS. BARR at 9:55 a.m.
