Chairperson Theresa Colarullo called the Regular Meeting to order in Commission Chambers at 9:30 A.M. Deputy Town Clerk Jane Dillon called the roll. Present were Chairperson Theresa Colarullo, Vice -Chair Miriam S. Zwick, and Members Judith Browner and Beverly Barr. Abraham Futernick and Rosalind Gatewood were absent. Building Official Bob Dawson was present, as well as Members of the general public. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Upon MOTION by MRS. ZWICK/MRS. BROWNER, the Minutes of the April 27, 2000 Regular Meeting were unanimously approved. NEW BUSINESS PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR PARTIAL DEMOLITION OF EXISTING HOUSE; CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4326 TRANQUILITY DRIVE. OWNER/APPLICANT: JEFFERY SAMUELS. • Mr. Samuels was present as well as his architect Bill Honor to present plans to the Board. With all concerns addressed, the following MOTION was made by MRS. ZWICK/MRS. BARR: THE COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD GRANTS FINAL APPROVAL FOR PARTIAL DEMOLITION OF EXISTING HOUSE; CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4326 TRANQUILITY DRIVE. OWNER/APPLICANT: JEFFERY SAMUELS. MOTION met with unanimous vote. PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR PRIVACY FENCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4305-A S. OCEAN BLVD.; APPLICANT/OWNER: ROBERT RESSLER. It was noted that the plans called for a privacy masonry wall, rather than a fence. This will be constructed by existing patio. With no concerns noted, the following MOTION was made by MR. ZWICK/MRS. BROWNER: THE COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD GRANTS FINAL APPROVAL FOR PRIVACY WALL FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4305-A S. OCEAN BLVD; APPLICANT/OWNER: ROBERT RESSLER. MOTION met with unanimous vote. Mr. Dawson presented an application which was not on the Agenda, for a motorized entry gate for property located at 4023 S. Ocean Blvd., Owner: Bill and Beverly Knight. a • Community Appearance Board May 25, 2000 Page 2 of 2 The Board agreed to hear application and found no concerns with the presented plans. The following MOTION was made by MRS. ZWICK/MRS. BARR: THE COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD GRANTS FINAL APPROVAL FOR MOTORIZED ENTRY GATE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4023 S. OCEAN BLVD; OWNER: BILL AND BEVERLY KNIGHT. MOTION met with unanimous vote. OTHER BUSINESS Mrs. Colarullo noted that Neil Burd had resigned from the Board in order to fill a vacancy on the Planning Board. Mrs. Colarullo presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Mrs. Zwick for completion of her six year tenure on the Board.
