GENERAL DISCUSSION
Mr. Maltz brought up a concern on condominium owners enclosing
their outdoor balconies to become part of their home, and expressed ~
concern that these renovations are not being brought before the
Planning Board.
Attorney Sliney noted that these requests are brought before
the condominium association who then give permission for the
work, but permits still need to be obtained from the Town.
Mr. Bell expressed concern with the amount of residents approaching
him on the going-on's in the town, namely the clearing of land for
the police/fire station modules. There was discussion about
having some sort of notification to the residents on these types of
things.
Attorney Sliney reminded the Board that this was published in the
Sun Sentinel newspaper and was discussed at Town Commission
meetings, which are open to the public.
There was a general consensus from several members to have some
• type of notification, or mention of these things in the quarterly
newsletters.
The next Regular Meeting is scheduled for October 11, 1995.
There being no further. business to come before the Board at this
time, the meeting was adjourned upon MOTION by MR. GOLDENSON/
MR. KANE at 10:10 A.M.
