Bresnahan called the Regular Meeting to order in Commission Chambers at 9:30 A.M. Deputy Town Clerk Jane Dillon called the roll. Present were Chairman Alfred E. Bresnahan, Members Victor P. Hadeed, S. Myron Browner, Guido Teichner, Eugene Diliberto and Gerald Church. Harold R. Hagelmann was absent. Also present were Town Attorney Thomas Sliney, Building Official Bob Dawson and members of the general public. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Upon MOTION by MR. HADEED/MR. BROWNER, the following sets of Minutes were unanimously approved. June 28, 1999 Special Meeting July 14, 1999 Regular/Public Hearing July 14, 1999 Workshop Meeting July 26, 1999 Workshop Meeting • NEW BUSINESS PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR DEMOLITION OF EXISTING RESIDENCE/POOL; CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW 2 -STORY S INGLE FAMILY HOME W I TH 3 -CAR GARAGE , FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2454 S. OCEAN BLVD., LOT 12 A, BYRD BEACH. APPLICANT: JOHN D. CONWAY / OWNER: CHARLES BALTIMORE. Representing the owner, Mr. Conway presented subject plans to the Board. After review of plans, and all questions answered, MOTION was made by MR. DILIBERTO/MR. TEICHNER as follows: THE PLANNING BOARD GIVES FINAL APPROVAL FOR DEMOLITION OF EXISTING RESIDENCE/POOL; CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW 2-STORY SINGLE FAMILY HOME WITH 3-CAR GARAGE, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2454 S. OCEAN BLVD., LOT 12 A, BYRD BEACH. APPLICANT: JOHN D. CONWAY / OWNER: CHARLES BALTIMORE. MOTION met with unanimous vote. PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NEW 89 UNIT DEVELOPMENT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE 4000 BLOCK, S. OCEAN BLVD.; APPLICANT: GARDENS AT BEL LIDO, MARK ROTHENBERG Mr. Rothenberg presented his project, explaining that this was a revised site plan from the first plan informally brought before the Board several months ago. Mr. Rothenberg explained that he needs state approval on several aspects of the site plan, but is looking Planning Board • Auaust 11, 1999 Page 2 of 3 for approval on areas of the plan which fall under the Town's jurisdiction, i.e., height, density, etc. Per Board's request, Mr. Rothenberg will prepare a rendition of project from AlA looking west, including landscaping. After questions were satisfactorily answered, the following MOTION by MR. HADEED/MR. BROWNER was made: THE PLANNING BOARD GIVES PRELIMINARY APPROVAL FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NEW 89 UNIT DEVELOPMENT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE 4000 BLOCK, S. OCEAN BLVD.; APPLICANT: GARDENS AT BEL LIDO, MARK ROTHENBERG MOTION met with unanimous vote. (Preliminary Approval gives applicant indication that board approves site plan in its beginning stages.) PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR RENOVATION OF HOLIDAY INN, HIGHLAND BEACH, 2809 S. OCEAN BLVD. APPLICANT: HIGH BCH, INC./OWNER: M. WALSH. Developer Gary Eliopouios, representing Mr. Walsh, was present to discuss renovation plans with the Board, explaining how the exterior of the building would be refurbished. The Board examined • the plans, and after questions answered, the following MOTION was made by MR. BROWNER/MR. TEICHNER: THE PLANNING BOARD GIVES FINAL APPROVAL FOR RENOVATION OF THE HOLIDAY INN, 2809 S. OCEAN BLVD., OWNER: M. WALSH. MOTION met with unanimous approval. PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR DEMOLITION OF EXISTING RESIDENCE, CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW 2-STORY SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4212 TRANQUILITY DRIVE; APPLICANT: HARBOUR BUILDERS OF FLORIDA. David Kessler of Harbor Builders was present to discuss subject project with the Board. After viewing of the plans, the following MOTION was made by MR. TEICHNER/MR. HADEED: THE PLANNING BOARD GIVES FINAL APPROVAL FOR DEMOLITION OF EXISTING RESIDENCE, CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW 2-STORY SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4212 TRANQUILITY DRIVE; APPLICANT: HARBOUR BUILDERS OF FLORIDA. MOTION met with unanimous vote. With no further business to come before the Board at this time, MOTION to adjourn was made by MR. TEICHNER/MR.
