2000.08.09_PB_Minutes_Regular (2);~ TOWN OF HIGHLAND BEACH PLANNING BOARD REGULAR MEETING MINUTES Wednesday August 9 2000 9:30 A.M. Chairman Alfred E. Bresnahan called the Regular Meeting to order in Commission Chambers at 9:30 A.M. Deputy Town Clerk Jane Dillon called the roll. Present were Chairman Bresnahan, Neil W. Burd, Guido Teichner, Harold Hagelmann, Theresa M. Colarullo and Eugene Diliberto. Vice-Chair Gerald B. Church was absent. Also present were Building Official Bob Dawson, Town Attorney Thomas Sliney and members of the general public. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Upon MOTION by MR. HAGELMANN/MR. BURD, the minutes of the July 12, 2000 Regular Meeting and the August 2, 2000 Special Meeting were unanimously approved. NEW BUSINESS PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE AT 2640 SOUTH OCEAN BLVD; APPLICANT/OWNER: MR. & MRS. PETER KOKINAKOS. Scott Dingle presented application to the Board and answer any questions. It was noted that property was issued a setback variance, making submitted plans in conformance with code. With all issues discussed, the following MOTION was made by MR. HAGELMANN/MR. BURD: THE PLANNING BOARD GIVES FINAL APPROVAL FOR DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE AT 2640 SOUTH OCEAN BLVD; APPLICANT/OWNER: MR. & MRS. PETER KOKINAKOS. MOTION met with unanimous approval. PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR ADDITIONS TO SECOND FLOOR OF EXISTING HOUSE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4201 TRANQUILITY DRIVE. APPLICANT/OWNER: JOSE AND MARIA ANDREU. Mr. Andreu explained plans and answered any questions. The following MOTION was made by MR. HAGELMANN/MRS. COLARULLO: THE PLANNING BOARD GIVES FINAL APPROVAL FOR ADDITIONS TO SECOND FLOOR OF EXISTING HOUSE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4201 TRANQUILITY DRIVE. APPLICANT/OWNER: JOSE AND MARIA ANDREU. MOTION met with unanimous approval. • Planning Board Auaust 09, 2000 Page 2 of 2 PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF A SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4621 SOUTH OCEAN BLVD; APPLICANT: BENEDICT GROUP, ARCHITECTS / OWNER: JACURA FLORIDA. Architect from Benedict Group was not present to represent project . MOTION was made by MR. BURD/MR. HAGELMANN to table application until the next Regular Meeting. OTHER BUSINESS Chairman Bresnahan presented former member S. Myron Browner with a Certificate of Appreciation for his four years served on the Board. Mr. Teichner expressed concern on the lack of parking at Town Hall when meetings occur that may draw a large crowd, and recommended alternate parking at such times. Mr. Saag stated that when the new water plant is built, an additional 32 parking spaces will be added to the back of Town Hall, and felt that there are so few largely attended meetings that it would not be advantageous to make additional arrangements at this time. The date of the next Regular Meeting was moved out to September 20, 2000. With no further business to come before the Board, MOTION to adjourn was made by MR. BURD/MRS.
