REGULAR MEETING MINUTES

Chairman Harold R. Hagelmann called the Regular Meeting to order in Commission
Chambers at 9:30 a.m. Present were, Chairman Hagelmann, Vice-Chair Gerald B.
Church, Members Neil W. Burd, Theresa M. Colarullo, Leonard D. Bell and Victor P.
Hadeed. Eugene Diliberto was absent. Also present were Town Attorney Thomas E.
Sliney and Building Official Robert Dawson.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Upon MOTION by MR. BURD/MR. HADEED, the Minutes of the February 13, 2002
Regular Meeting were unanimously approved.
NEW BUSINESS
PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR 17 NEW PARKING SPACES FOR PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 4740 SOUTH OCEAN BLVD.; BRAEMAR ISLE CONDOMINIUM. APPLICANT:
MONA TEXERIC.
• Mona Texeric presented application to the Board, explaining that 17 spaces would be
added to a grassed area to accommodate daytime maintenance parking, and allow
emergency vehicles to maneuver easier. After discussion, the following MOTION was
made by MR. BURD/MR. BELL:
THE PLANNING BOARD GRANTS FINAL APPROVAL FOR 17 NEW
PARKING SPACES FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4740 SOUTH
OCEAN BLVD.; BRAEMAR ISLE CONDOMINIUM. APPLICANT: MONA
TEXERIC.
MOTION met with unanimous approval.
PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR SITE WALL AND CONSTRUCTION OF TWO NEW
SINGLE FAMILY DWELLINGS FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 4036 AND 4038 S.
OCEAN BLVD.; APPLICANT THE GARDENS AT HIGHLAND BEACH, LTD.
Jeff Norman offered a presentation to the board. It was noted that this was a courtesy
presentation in that the Town Commission had previously approved the project in its
entirety. At conclusion of discussion the following MOTION was made by MR.
HADEED/MR. BELL:

MOTION met with unanimous approval.
PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NEW SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4426 TRANQUILITY DRIVE. APPLICANT: FRANKEL
HOMES LIMITED, INC.
Mr. Frankel was present to review plans with the Board. With all questions answered,
the following MOTION was mae by MR. BURD/MRS. COLARULLO:
THE PLANNING BOARD GRANTS FINAL APPROVAL FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF NEW SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4426 TRANQUILITY DRIVE. APPLICANT:
FRANKEL HOMES LIMITED, INC.
MOTION met with unanimous approval.
• PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR NEW TWO STORY BUILDING HOUSING WATER PLANT
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3614 SOUTH OCEAN BLVD.; TOWN HALL.
APPLICANT: BEN SAAG.
Town Manager Ben Saag offered a courtesy presentation to the Board regarding the
construction of the reverse osmosis water treatment plant.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to come before the Board, MOTION to adjourn was made by
MRS. COLARULLO/MR. BURD at 10:40 a.m.
