Chairman Neil W. Burd called the Regular Meeting to order in Commission Chambers
at 9:30 a.m: Present were Vice-Chair Theresa M. Colarullo, Louis P. Stern and Robert
Silverberg. Also present was Town Attorney Thomas E. Sliney, Building Official Robert
Dawson and members of the general public.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes were tabled until the October meeting.
NEW BUSINESS
FINAL REVIEW FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION TO CLOSE IN EXISTING WALKWAY FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2908 SOUTH OCEAN BLVD.; OWNER: MR. & MRS.
AXELROD. APPLICANT: LUCERI CONSTRUCTION CORP.
Representative presenting application noted that there is a covered walkway between
• two homes, which the owner would like to place a 2nd story on one home and over the
walkway. The second home currently is a two story structure. As this is a "family
compound" the board questioned if the property has a unity of title, and requested to see
legal documentation reflecting same. They also requested seeing a picture of the homes
to visually see how they will be connected.
This application was tabled until a future date when these items can be produced.
FINAL REVIEW FOR NEW SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
3801 SOUTH OCEAN BLVD. OWNER/APPLICANT: OCEAN ESTATES, LLC.
Mr. Bill Knight presented his application, and the Board reviewed the plans. As
application meets all town requirements, the following MOTION was made by MR.
SILVERBERG/MRS. COLARULLO:
THE PLANNING BOARD GRANTS FINAL APPROVAL FOR NEW
SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3801 SOUTH
OCEAN BLVD. OWNER/APPLICANT: OCEAN ESTATES, LLC.
MOTION carried unanimously.
FINAL REVIEW FOR A TEMPORARY SIGN (RENDERING OF HOME UNDER
CONSTRUCTION) FOR .PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1087 BEL LIDO DRIVE.

Mr. Remmerden brought the sign to the meeting for the members to see. Mr. Dawson
stated that the sign met all town codes. After questions were answered, the following
MOTION was made by MR. STERN/MR. SILVERBERG.
THE PLANNING BOARD GRANTS FINAL APPROVAL FOR A
TEMRORARY SIGN (RENDERING OF HOME UNDER CONSTRUCTION)
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1087 BEL LIDO DRIVE. APPLICANT:
MARK REMMERDEN.
MOTION carried unanimously.
FINAL REVIEW FOR ADDITION TO HOUSE ON SIDE YARD FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 1006 GRAND COURT. OWNER: CHARLES AND ELLEN SOLLINS.
Mr. Dawson noted that this applicant went before the Board of Adjustment and received
setback approval to build addition on lot. After review of plans, the following MOTION
was made by MR. SILVERBERG/MRS. COLARULLO:

PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR INSTALLATION OF A BOAT LIFT FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 4801 S. OCEAN BLVD. (SLIP 51) OWNER: DR. SHEPPARD MOLLICA.
APPLICANT: DNYAMIC ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS.
PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR INSTALLATION OF A BOAT LIFT FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 4801 S. OCEAN BLVD.. (SLIP 7) OWNER: NEREIDA FERNANDEZ.
APPLICANT: DNYAMIC ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS.
As both applicants are for the same boat lift and by the same company, Mr. Sliney
suggested they be heard together. After review of applications, MOTION was made by
MRS. COLARULLO/MR. SILVERBERG to approve preliminary applications and schedule
a public hearing. A public hearing will be held on Wednesday, October 13 immediately
following the regular meeting at 9:30 a.m.
