The vehicle would cost $450.00, and insurance, maintenance and materials are estimated to cost an additional ?',.00.00 for a period of one year. The Mayor offers to take possession of and refund the cost of the vehicle if the project is not successful after a six month trial, in which case he estimates that the cost to the Town would not be in excess of 4250.00 Commissioners Heaton and Hertwig are opposed to the project. They believe there is no ouick and easy way to solve the sand rrnat problem but thht the careful study and experimenting, now being done by state and county authorities will Produce before long, a successful and lasting solution. They firmly believe that any money spent by the Town now will be wasted. They feel that the Town cannot afford to waste `rt00.00 or even 1100.GO, but that instead every dollar possible should be conserved in order to build up the Itterest and Sinking . Fund and reduce the tax village that much sooner. Please sign below whether you are in favor of spending Town money on this Project or whether you are opposed to it.
