Ohairman Santangelo called the meeting to order at 10 : 15 a.m. Following

the salute to the flag, Secretary Vendeland called the roll. The Agenda
is Attachment "A" .
Present: J. J. Kanner, G. Vendeland, Judge Santangelo,
L. H. Jenkins, B. S . Stephenson, M. L. Blosser
Absent: J. F. Donohue
MINUTES
Secretary Vendeland read the minutes of the meeting of September 13, 1978.
Following the reading, motion was made by Mr. Stephenson, seconded by
Mr. Jenkins, to accept the minutes as read. Mr. Kanner, Mrs . Vendeland,
Judge Santangelo, Mr. Jenkins, Mr. Stephenson, voted aye.
NEW BUSINESS
Chairman Santangelo noted there was no new business and no unfinished
business to be discussed, and called on Town Manager, E. W. Roberts,
in audience, for any business to be considered by the Board. Mrs. Roberts
advised that preparations are under way for the celebration of the
Thirtieth Anniversary of the incorporation of the Town of Highland Beach.
Commissioner Peter J. Genovese, in audience, thanked the members of the
/-‘ Housing Board for their efforts on behalf of the Town. Commissioner
Harry Bauer noted that he and Mrs . N. M. Johnson were compiling data to
be presented in commemoration of the Thirtieth Anniversary of Highland
Beach.
Chairman Santangelo thanked members of the Board for their continued
attendance at meetings during his recent absence and expressed his
appreciation of the efforts of the Town Manager and staff on behalf of
the Housing Board.
ADJOURNMENT
Secretary Vendeland noted that the next regular meeting of the Housing
Board of Adjustment and Appeals will be scheduled for Wednesday, Nov-
ember 8, 1978, at 10 : 15 a.m. Mr. Stephenson offered the motion to adjourn,
seconded by Mr. Jenkins . Mr. Stephenson, Mr. Jenkins, Mrs. Vendeland and
Judge Santangelo and Mr. Kanner, voted aye. The meeting wa adjourned at 10:35
