Chairman Santangelo called the meeting to order at 10: 20 a.m. . Copy of
notice, Exhibit "A"
Present were: Chairman Santangelo, Vice Chairman Genovese,
Mr. Krauss and Mrs. Vendeland.
Absent: Mr. Stephenson, Mr. Kanner an
Alternate, acted in his absence.
Also in attendance were Mr. Jenkins, an Alternate, Mayor Gilday, Town
Manager, Elaine W. Roberts, and the Building and Zoning Administrative
Official, Mr. John P. O' Grady.
Secretary, Mrs. Vendeland, read the minutes of November 12, 1974. Vice-
Chairman Genovese offered the motion to accept the minutes as read, Mr.
Kanner seconded. The Board was polled and by voice vote, the minutes
were unanimously approved.
Chairman Santangelo reminded members to file Form One: Financial Dis-
closure Requirements.
The Building and Zoning Administrative Official, Mr. John O'Grady, in-
formed the Board of his intention to send a letter to Mr. Steinhardt
regarding the White House property. He read his proposed letter of
December 11, 1974, see Exhibit "B" .
Discussion followed. It was recommended to the Building Official that
in any instance he proposes to take action under the Southern Standard
Housing Code, with respect to any demolition action, he should take
pictures to show the condition of the building, at such time, inside
and out. It was also suggested that Mr. O'Grady fully consider sending
copies of all notifications to the Town' s Counsel.
Mrs. Roberts called the attention to: Page four of the Southern Standard
Housing Code, provisions in the Southern Standard Building Code, and the
Nuisance Code in the Town' s Code of Ordinances.
Chairman Santangelo called attention to provisions set forth on page
three of the Southern Standard Housing Code and suggested Mr. O'Grady
review this section. Discussion followed.
Mrs. Roberts addressed the Board and requested that the members prepare
and submit written procedures of the guid2ines of the board to follow
in its meetings and matters to be acted upon.
MINUTES, ETC.
The recording secretary is to review the tape of the Organizational
Meeting as to the discussion of the Board re: Adopting Robert Rules
of Order, etc. In addition, the Town Manager will furnish to the
Secretary, Mrs. Vedeland, a procedural model now being used by another
Agency of the Town (to assist members of the Board in its procedures) .

upon completion) .
There was no other business to be heard; therefore, a motion was offered
to adjourn, motion was seconded and the meeting adjourned at approximately
11:40 a.m. .
