1974.01.03_CAB_Minutes_Regular • MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF TiE CO"FUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD HELD JANUARY 3rd, 1974 at Town Hall, Highland Beach, Florida Upon roll call, the following members answered present: Mrs. Stewart, Mrs. Becker, Mr. Beekman, and Mr. Walsh. Also appearing were Mr. Thomas E. Rauls, Landscape Architect, r; and Mr. Zebarth and Mr. Shaw, Developers. ITEM No. 1- IIMMOMIIIIIIIIMMOW $034.) Mofl ocSaal ?rnsJ • a sign submitted, to be placed on East side of AlA. Mr. Beekman moved that temporary sign be approved as submitted but with arrow reversed and no luminous paint. Mr. Walsh seconded. Voting Aye were Mrs. Stewart, Mrs. Becker, Mr. Walsh, Mr. Beekman. a Some discussion of leaving trees in a 10 foot strip — along side - East to West and a 15-20 foot strip along the back, North to South. Developer agreed. Building: West facade - Front ver'-ical panels should be textured. Mr. Beekman moved, and Mr. Walsh seconded that CAB approve landscape plans with these r.it gvsns in6�l1ui d rmnedgeaIon� north and South lines from AlA to 2 planting groups 2. Seagrape on N. E. corner at seawall area. 3. Provide 2/5 foot planting spaces in upper North parking area - to include 2 coconut palms with base planting. 4. Exterior lighting plan and permanent name aid address sign - to be submitted to CAB by February 21st, 1974 for consideration a7 next meeting. Voting Aye on above were Mrs. Stewart, Mts. Becker, Mes: rs. Beekman and Walsh. Mr. Walsh then moved that the design of AlA elevation be resubmitted for approval by February 21st, 1974. Mrs. Becker seconded. Voting Aye were Mrs. Stewart, Yrs. Becker, Messrs. Walsh and Beekman. Mr. Walsh then moved, seconded by Mr. Beekman that CAB approve the temporary sales office ! elevations and landscaping plan with noted change and revisions as indicated on plan. Voting Aye were Mrs. Stewart, Mrs. Becker, Messrs. Beekman and Walsh. ITEM # 2: Minutes Board voted to dispense with reading of the Minutes. Item Y3: OLD BUSINESS 1. Mr. Urbanek is asking for a new sign 2. Sign permit for Winterhalter Club •�+wJ� G C.J.y tF^`fO//w J11^ 3. Boda-Hi Signs - Tabled. Mr. Walsh moved that we allow Mrs. Stewart to negotiate with Boca-Hi for temporary signs. 4. Catholic Church - No response as yet. Mr. Walsh moved, seconded by Mr. Beekman, that we send them another letter. 5. Holiday Inn - Letter received from them. Mrs Stewart will pursue. ITEM # 4 - NEW BUSINESS: 1. Mr. Parker - wants plans submitted at special meeting 2. Mrs. Stewart -- wrote up CAB procedural data to put in file for future use if needed. 3.
