Minutes of the regular meeting of the Community Appearance Board
on Thursday,August 28, 1975, at the Righland Beech Town Hall at
7:00 P.M.
Meeting was called to order at 7 :00 .0.M. with the following members
present: Messrs . Beekman and Storm and Mrs . Stewart.
Minutes of the meeting of July 31, 1475 were approved without correction
Motion to accept was made by Mr. Storm, seconded by Mr. Beekman and
unanimously approved.

'Jr. d.Dobrzynski, owner, appeared at 7:30 and indic ted on the
blueprint tnat sprinkler system would be installed; also submitted
color of roof tile clay as well as color drawings . Trash location
and ligating discussed, ani sar.ple of type of light_ng as aellaa
sample of gate was submitted. Numbers and sizes of landscaping
material was net specific, nor was type of walk and planter material
specified. Mr. Storm indicated more specific landscaping according to
our criteria is necessary and Mr. Beekman agreed. Motion was made
by Yr. Storm that numbers and sizes of the snrutbery should be
submitted for approval at our next _eeting, with further specifics

Item #2 - Ambassadors, 45O5i1 So . Ocean.lvd. (Temporary sales sign)
Mr. Totz, representative, preeented sign approval at Sites 1 - 5,
(25 sq.ft . ; either 4 x 5 or 5 x 5, one on each site, double faced ,
• possibly 15' inside state highway. ir.Beekman made motion to approve
sign, 2.1r . Gtorm seconded, appr: ved by Messrs . Beekman and Storm.
Mrs. Stewart voted nay .

kr. Colby Zebarth was present and submitted rough sketch of proposed
sign, plain block letters in red on white backgr:-und,name and model
lines 12" high, 617e 8' long x 371" hig4with 6" height for phone and
opening hours lines . The presentation was very rough and hard to
visualize in its final form. err. Beekman made motion to approve
tre sign. There was no second. A revised drawing was then submitted
on back of original sketch. Yr. Beekman then made motion to approve
the revis.:d plan for sign, seconded by Mr. Storm, approved by
Messrs . Beekman end ..toren . Mrs . 3tewart voted nay .
Mrs . Stewart recd letter of August 25, 1975 to the Town Commissioners
recommending 4r. James Schubert, a single featly re°idence owner,
as an alternate on the Community Appearance Board.
Mrs . :;tewart recommended that letter on behalf of the Board be sent
to Mrs . Storm, thanking her for taking minutes of the meeting during
the absence of the regular secretary .
Mr. Leekman made motion to adjourn at 8:30 : .Y. , seconded ty Xr.Storm
and approved by Mrs . Beekman, Storm and Mrs. Stewart .
