OLD BUSINESS
A letter dated July 2, 1976 from Regency Highland Associates, signed
by Mr. Melvin Goldberger, Trustee, stated that Regency Highland
Associates were not aware of any request for decorative shutter ap-
proval. When their condominium association is in operation, they
will make a study and evaluation and then present their recommenda-
tions to the C.A.B.
Mrs. Stewart prefaced her reading of Mr. Storm' s letter of resigna-
tion by stating that she had submitted his name to be considered for
the vacancy on the Planning Board because she felt that Mr. Storm
was very qualified to be on this Board and most importantly somebody
who had been on the C.A.B. and knows the problems and the community
could contribute immensely to the plans that are going to be in the
works for the next ten years in this community. Motion made by Mr.
Rex, seconded by Mr. Beekman to accept with regret Mr. Storm' s resig-
nation. Voice vote--aye--Mr. Rex, Mr. Beekman and Mrs. Stewart.
Mrs. Stewart then reported she had asked Mrs. Jaffe, the senior alter-
nate, if she would accept the position as a regular member of the
C.A.B. , and that Mrs. Jaffe declined due to the fact that she is a
full time instructor at the Norton Gallery. Mr. Schubert has con-
sented to become a permanent member of the Board if he were to be
appointed by the Commission. A motion made by Mr. Beekman, seconded
by Mr. Rex to notify Mayor Gilday that the Board would like to have
Mr. Schubert appointed to the C.A.B. as a permanent member. All ayes.
A letter was received from Mr. O'Grady, the Building Official whose

resignation became effective July 30, 1976 and read in which he ex-
pressed his gratitude to each member of the C.A. B. both past and
present. Mrs. Stewart thanked Mr. O'Grady and wished him well.
Mrs. Stewart distributed a letter regarding environmental regional
ideas and suggested that each member make comments and drop them
back to Mrs. Roberts at Town Hall by the fourteenth of next month.
Mrs. Stewart then read a letter from Ecosearch Company, Mr. William
J. Woodman announcing the formation of the company for the purpose
of offering consultation services on matters of environmental impact
of local concern.
A motion was made by Mr. Rex, seconded by Mr. Beekman that inasmuch
as we are assured that there will not be a quorum of the Board able
to be present at the regular meeting in August, that the meeting be
cancelled. Aye votes--Mr. Rex, Mr. Beekman and Mrs. Stewart.
The next regularly scheduled meeting will be September 30th.
Motion made by Mr. Rex, seconded by Mr. Beekman to adjourn at

I admit to error and did ap.rove the two signs presented at last
night's meeting by St. Lucy's Church. I wish that somebody had
checked the application and caught my error. I have advised the
members of St. Lucy's Church to appeal to the Board of Adjustment
for relief. iC2f'
