1979.02.16_CAB_Minutes_Regular COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD, HIGHLAND BEACH, FLORIDA FIELD TRIP - FEBRUARY 16, 1979 PARKER CONDOMINIUM SITE, LOT #13, SOUTH OCEAN BLVD. - EAST & WEST Present: J. M. Schubert, Acting Chairman B. J. Stewart Amelie Leng Gilbert Lorenze (Alternate) Acting Chairman James M.Schubert, with members B. J. Stewart, Amelie Leng, and Gilbert Lorenz met with Mr. Roy Flack, representing Parker Condo- minium, and Bob Mello, representing Bradshaw Architects. The purpose of the field trip was to make final determination of which trees are going to be root-pruned, re-planted and saved and then tag the trees. A total of 78 trees were tagged on the EAST side and 11 trees on the WEST side, as per attached lists. At 11: 20 Mr. Rick Gilbert of the Miami Office of the Corps of Engineers joined the party. Mr. Gilbert looked over the WEST area and stated that he saw no problems, however, forms were left to be completed and send to Jacksonville for approval. Mr. Flack will notify the BOARD MEMBERS when (-11 formal instruction is scheduled so everyone can be present. On the EAST side, the Developer has assured us that the vegetation within the 20 ' bumper strip, along the South side of the property, will remain. Some select trimming and pruning will be done in connection with the final landscaping. On the WEST side, Mr. Flack stated that they will save as many trees as possible around the perimeter road. The plans are to clear everything except what has been tagged. Also, between the tennis court and the property line, as many trees as possible will be kept. MOTION by B. J. Stewart, seconded by Mrs. Leng, that all tagged trees (78 on the east side and 11 on the west side) are either to be kept in place or root-pruned for relocation and future planting. Developer will notify the BOARD when root-pruning has taken place and the trees are not to be moved for 60 days. Motion carried unamimously. 3/ A, iT, J'Tia P4' 'm MOTION TO ADJOURN - by-J.
