Chairman Amelie Leng called the regular meeting to order at 7: 30 p.m.
The agenda is attached.

Minutes of the meeting held February 26, 1981, were examined. Mr. Lorenz
moved to accept the minutes as change Mrs. Giglio seconded the motion.

Insufficient number of shade trees indicated on plans. Needs pictures of
lights on buildings, needs lighting schedule. More canopy trees to be
placed in east parking area . Stepping stones recommended for pool area.

Applicant will return on April 30, 1981, for final review.
Mr. John F. Schneider of 3114 South Ocean Blvd. , Apt. 611, in audience, was
introduced to Board members by Chairman Leng. Mr. Schneider spoke regarding
his interest in the Board. Chairman Leng advised that Mr. Schneiders app-
lication for membership as Alternate will be considered by the Community
Appearance Board and he will be further advised.

Mr. Lorenz read report on inspection of Trafalgar, attached. Motion by
Mr. Lorenz, second, Mrs. Giglio, that the C/O be tabled until such time
as the Trafalgar of Highland Beach can be reinspected. All aye votes,
Mrs. Martin, Mrs. Giglio, Mrs. Leng, Mr. Conte and Mr. Lorenz.
Motion by Mrs. Martin, second by Mr. Lorenz, that revised landscape plans
be accepted. All aye votes, Mrs . Martin, Mrs. Giglio, Mrs. Leng, Mr.
Lorenz, Mr. Conte.
OLD BUSINESS
DALTON PLACE. BOCA HIGHLAND. 4720 S/0 BLVD. MR. LEON ALLEN, AND MR.
RICHARD ROMANOFF, REPRESENTATIVES OF DALTON PLACE COMMUNITY RELATIONS BOARD,
PRESENT.
GENERAL COMMENTS OF THE BOARD
Chairman Leng noted that Mr. Allen and Mr. Romanoff, representing Dalton
Place, had attended the Community Appearance Board meeting but left prior
to motion being made relative to the Dalton Place lights.
BOARD DECISION AND VOTING
Motion by Mr. Lorenz, second by Mrs. Martin, that C/O be denied until current
flood lights are removed and lights similar to those installed at Aberdeen
Arms have been put in place. All aye votes, Mrs. Martin, Mrs . Giglio, Mrs.
Leng, Mr. Lorenz and Mr. Conte.
Letter addressed to Mr. Richard Romanoff, advising of the action taken by
the Community Appearance Board, has been sent to Mr. Romanoff, copy attached.

Mrs. Leng noted the question raised by Mr. Alguire (Trafalgar) concerning
color to be used in renovation of Penthouse Highlands Condominium painting
of building.
Chairman Leng advised the Board that a Final Certificate of Occupancy has
been issued to W. Wunderlich for the structure located on Lot #5, Block 2 ,
4210 S/O Blvd. , Triplex, copy of report by A. Giglio, dated March 26, 1981,
attached.
Chairman Leng advised that the members of the Board are to make a separate
motion when voting for approval to grant a Certificate of Occupancy.
Chairman Leng noted that a letter addressed to Mr. Norman Hile who has
resigned has been signed by members and will be forwarded to him. Copy
attached.
Mr. Lorenz moved that a Committee be appointed by the CAB for the purpose
of encouraging the greening of ALA. Members of the CAB will form a portion
of this Committee. Mrs. Martin seconded the motion. Mrs. Martin, Mrs.
Giglio, Mrs. Leng, Mr. Lorenz and Mr. Conte voted aye. The original sug-
gestion to form a Committee had been made by Commissioner J. J. Basso. A
letter advising of this action by the CAB has been transmitted to the Town
Commission. Copy attached.
It was noted that the former ShorelandArorrine property, Lot 87/89, SR ALA
is in an unsightly condition.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Mr. Lorenz, second Mrs. Leng, to adjourn the regular meeting.
All aye votes, Mrs. Martin, Mrs. Giglio, Mrs. Leng, Mr. Lorenz, Mr. Conte.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 30, 1981. The
agenda will close Wednesday, April 15, 1981.
The regular meeting was adjourned at 11:45 p.m.
