INSPECTION REPORT/F. SAVINO - TOWN COMPLEX. REGULAR MEETING.
( ' Chairman Amelie Leng called the meeting to order at 9: 35 a .m. advising
this was a regular meeting of the Community Appearance Board, Town of
Highland Beach, Florida. The recording secretary called the roll. Copy
of the agenda is attached.
Present: F. Savino, G. J. Galizia, N. C. Martin, A. Leng,
L. P. Johnson, B. J. Stewart.
Absent: D. A. Rome
MINUTES
Chairman Leng noted the first order of business to be approval of minutes
of September 30, 1982 . Following reading of minutes by members, and dis-
cussion, Mrs. Martin moved to accept the minutes as amended. Mr. Galizia
seconded. Mr. Savino voted aye, Mr. Galizia, aye, Mrs. Leng, aye, Mrs.
Martin, aye, Mrs . Stewart, aye .

GENERAL COMMENTS OF THE BOARD
White color is considered glaring, toned down color preferred. Repres-
entative advised Board eggshell white will be used. "Vegetation will be
maintained at growth height following a period of growth, and will not be
allowed to grow tall. " Board reserves the right to act on tennis court
landscaping. "Location of lighting to be changed so that lights will be
one in each setback of wall. " "Tennis court vegetation will be installed
as to visual acceptance within CAB before C/O is issued. " (Signed, Michael

Motion by Mrs. Martin, second, Mr. Galizia, "to approve plans with notes as
written and signed on plans providing we have color sample within thirty

Wall paint chip to be provided, railing details, berming and location of
sable palms to be indicated when moved, tree survey and pool decking.

Chairman Leng called upon Mike Caistor, Delray Nursery and Landscape, Inc.
representative, to speak to the Board relative to providing service to
The Community Appearance Board in connection with landscape plans submitted
to the Board for review.
Members were advised the Clarendon project will be repainted.
Letter from Dr. Friedman relative to sodding at Braemar Isle, was read.

BOARD DECISION AND VOTING
Inspection report read by Mr. F. Savino. Landscaping sparse . Sizes of
trees do not conform in some instances with tree sizes as shown on plans.

Motion was made by Mr. Savino not to grant approval for a C/O until members
meet to tour the project grounds. Mr. Galizia seconded the motion. Mr.
Savino voted aye, Mr. Galizia, aye, Mrs . Leng, aye, Mrs. Martin, aye, Mrs.
Stewart, aye. Members will meet at a Workshop meeting on Thursday, Nov-
ember 4, 1982, at 9: 30 a.m. to examine the landscaping at the Town Hall.

ADJOURNMENT
The next regular meeting of the Community Appearance Board is scheduled
for Thursday, November 18, 1982, at 9: 30 a.m. The Agenda closes at noon
on Wednesday, November 3, 1982 .
A Workshop meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 4, 1982 , at 9: 30
a.m. at the Town Hall. A tour of the Municipal Complex grounds will follow
the Workshop meeting
Mr. Savino moved to adjourn the regular meeting, Mr. Galizia seconded the
motion. Mr. Savino voted aye, Mr. Galizia, aye, Mrs. Leng, aye, Mrs .
Martin, aye, and Mrs . Stewart aye.
The regular meeting was adjourned at 1:05 p.m.
