Chairman Nita C.Martin called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. , advising
this was a regular meeting of the Community Appearance Board, Town of High-
land Beach, Florida. The recording secretary called the roll. The agenda
is attached.

GENERAL COMMENTS OF THE BOARD
Following discussion relative to approval of plans, it was agreed applic-
ants will contact the Planning Commission relative to approval of plans.

BOARD DECISION AND VOTING
Motion by Mr. Keller, second, Mr. Savino, to recommend granting a certi-
ficate of occupance with the condition that the tabebuia tree be replaced.
L. P. Johnson voted aye, F. Savino, aye, A. R. Keller, aye, H. Arnold, aye,
and Chairman Martin, aye.
Members agreed to meet on June 2, 1984, at 11:00 a.m. , at the Town Hall,
prior to meking an on site inspection of the Kennedy site.
Mr. Savino read letter received from Mr. Philip Colman, Villa Magna Condo-
minium Association President, regarding the poor condition of the Holida
Inn roof. Letter attached.
Mr. Eugene Snyder in audience, spoke relative to approval of plans for
Boca Highland, Townhouses, Mrs. Martin will contact Mr. Thorbrough for
information regarding approval by the Planning Commission
Members reviewed revised copy of the proposed Signs and Advertising Ord-
inance. It was agreed that Sec. 23-4 Fees for Permits, should be revised
to read as follows:
Sec. 23-4 Fees for Permits.
B. Temporary Sign: The fee should be two hundred
fifty dollars ($250.00) for each six (6) month period
or part thereof.

ADJOURNMENT
The next regular meeting of the Community Appearance Board is scheduled
for Thursday, June 28, 1984, at 9:30 a.m.
The agenda for the June meeting closes at 12 :00 noon on June 14, 1984.
Mr. Arnold moved to adjourn the meeting, Mrs. Harris seconded the motion.
Mrs. Johnson voted aye, Mr. Savino, aye, Mr. Arnold, aye and Chairman
Martin, aye. The meeting was adjourned at 11: 30 a .m.
