1996.04.25_CAB_Minutes_Regular TOWN OF HIGHLAND BEACH COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD REGULAR MEETING MINUTES Thursday, April 25, 1996 9 : 30 A.M. Chair Gordon called the Regular Meeting to order at 9 :30 AM. Deputy Town Clerk Jane Dillon called the roll . Present were Chair Gordon, Vice Chair Behrman, Members Frank Arenella, Miriam Zwick, Theresa Colarullo, Norman Stevens and Abraham Futernick. Building Official Ed Hardy and members of the public were present . NEW BUSINESS APPROVAL OF MINUTES Roll call met with unanimous vote for approval of the following minutes : Minutes of the March 28 Regular Meeting. Minutes of the April 12 Special Meeting. n NEW BUSINESS PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR ADDITIONS TO EXISTING SINGLE FAMILY HOME AT 4312 INTRACOASTAL DRIVE, BLOCK 4 , LOT 17, BEL LIDO. DR. AND MRS . BARRY SEIDMAN (APPLICANT/OWNER. ) Architect Al Cilius of 2611 N. Riverside Drive, Pompano Beach, FL, presented an overview of the planned renovation. Ed Hardy stated that the renovation would be within the footprint of the original house . The Board examined the plans, and with all questions answered, the following MOTION was made by MR. FUTERNICK/MRS . COLARULLO: THE COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD GIVES FINAL APPROVAL FOR ADDITIONS TO EXISTING SINGLE FAMILY HOME FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4312 INTRACOASTAL DRIVE, BLOCK 4, LOT 17, BEL LIDO. DR. AND MRS . BARRY SEIDMAN (APPLICANT/OWNER. ) Rollcall met with unanimous vote . PRELIMINARY REVIEW OF SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE & 2 CABANAS AT 2625 S . OCEAN BLVD. , LOT 122 EAST, DEV. #4 AND #1 & #2 CABANAS . CHARLES JOHNSON - BYRD BEACH ESTATES, LTD. (APPLICANT. ) Community Appearance Board April 25, 1996 Pape 2 of 3 Randall Stofft, Architect, presented an overview of the building facade and landscaping of subject plans . As all the future homes in the complex will offer the same color scheme, style and land- scaping, Mr. Stofft asked if final approval could be made for all the future home plans which would normally come before the board. This would alleviate the time needed for additional board meetings, which would review the same type of plans as is in front of the board today. The Board agreed with Mr. Stofft ' s request, and after questions were satisfactorily answered, MOTION was made by MR. BEHRMAN/ MR. STEVENS . The Community Appearance Board gives final approval of single family residence and 2 cabanas at 2625 S . Ocean Blvd. , lot 122 East, Dev. #4 and #1 & #2 cabanas . Charles Johnson - Byrd Beach Estates, LTD. (Applicant) and final approval for all future homes to be built at Byrd Beach Estates, for colors and landscaping, without coming before the Board for individual approval . The applicant is required to submit color and landscaping plans to the Building Dept. at the time of construction so the Board members may review at their discretion. Should there be a concern, a CAB meeting may be called. Roll Call met with unanimous vote . OTHER BUSINESS Several concerns were brought up for discussion: 1 . Removing of debris at 4100 lot , along the bike path. 2 . Posting a sign stating "No Feeding Raccoons" at RTC property. 3 . New Bike path audible warning signs . Recommendations were made for solutions to these concerns, of which will be placed in a memo to Town Manager Mariano from Chairperson Gordon. (Copy attached hereto and made a part of these minutes . ) May 30 is the next scheduled meeting. Chair Gordon will be the inspector for the month of May.
