COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD
REGULAR MEETING
MINUTES
Thursday, December 19, 1996 9 : 30 A.M.
Chair Gordon called the Regular Meeting to order at 9 : 30 AM.
Deputy Town Clerk Jane Dillon called the roll . Present were Chair
Gordon, Members Frank Arenella, Miriam Zwick, Theresa Colarullo,
Norman Stevens and Abraham Futernick. Vice Chair Eugene Behrman
was absent .
Building Official Jim Du Vall was present, as well as members of
the general public .
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Upon MOTION by unanimous rollcall vote, the minutes of the
September 26, 1996 regular meeting were unanimously approved.
NEW BUSINESS
PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR DEMOLITION OF EXISTING SINGLE FAMILY AND
BUILDING A NEW SINGLE FAMILY HOME FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3901 S .
OCEAN BLVD. , BLOCK 3 , LOT 58. APPLICANT: JOHN D. CONWAY
(ARCHITECT) / OWNER: WARREN BLASLAND, JR.
After Mr. Conway' s presentation of the plans, the Board examined
same, with their questions being answered satisfactorily. Mr.
DuVall stated that the plans were in conformance with the Town' s
requirements . The following Motion was made by MR. FUTERNICK/MRS .

Roll call met with unanimous vote .
PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR 3RD FLOOR ADDITION TO EXISTING RESIDENCE
WITHIN FOUNDATION OF STRUCTURE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3921 S .
OCEAN BLVD. , BLOCK 3, LOT 55 . APPLICANT: MOSES ASSOC. ARCHITECTS
OWNER: DONALD GELLER.
Mr. Geller presented the plans to the Board, who had a concern with
the front facade of the home, as the plans did not clearly
establish the dimensions of same .

Rollcall met with unanimous vote.
OTHER BUSINESS
A concern was brought up on the illegal dumping of tree clippings.
Mr. DuVall stated that the Maintenance Department is keeping an eye
out for illegal dumping and having them fined if applicable .
It was noted that St . Lucy' s Church will be installing a chain link
fence and shrubbery on the South side of their property.
The next Regular Meeting is scheduled for January 30, 1997 .
With no further business to come before the Board, MOTION was made
