REGULAR MEETING

Chairwoman Elvine Gordon called the Regular Meeting to order in
Commission Chambers at 9 : 30 A.M.
Deputy Town Clerk Jane Dillon called the roll . Present were Chair
Elvine Gordon, Vice Chair Eugene I . Behrman, and Members Frank
Arenella, Miriam S . Zwick, Theresa M. Colarullo, Norman Stevens and
Abraham Futernick.
Also present was Building Official James Du Vall and members of the
general public .
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Upon MOTION by MRS. ZWICK/MR. BEHRMAN, the minutes of the December
19, 1996 Regular meeting were unanimously approved.
Upon MOTION by MR. BEHRMAN/MR. STEVENS, the minutes of the January
!1' 10, 1997 Special Meeting were unanimously approved.
NEW BUSINESS
PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR RENOVATION/REMODEL OF A SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENCE AT 4217 INTRACOASTAL DRIVE, LOT 30, BLOCK 4 , BEL LIDO.
BRUCE QUINN (OWNER/APPLICANT) ; THOMAS MAXWELL (CONSULTING ENGINEER. )
Mr. Du Vall gave a brief description of the renovation and stated
that the plans were in compliance with Town code . After review of
the plans, the following MOTION was made by MR. STEVENS/MRS . ZWICK.

Rollcall met with unanimous vote .
PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR RENOVATION OF A SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE AT
4308 TRANQUILITY DRIVE, LOT 5, BLOCK 3 , BEL LIDO. RICHARD
GREENWALD (OWNER/APPLICANT) ; JARED KANE COMPANY (GENERAL
CONTRACTOR. )
Mr. Leif Metsch of Jared Kane Company, offered description of
�.. subject renovation. Mr. Du Vall stated that plans were in

compliance with Town Codes . The Board reviewed the plans, at which
time MOTION was made by MR. FUTERNICK/MR. ARENELLA .

Rollcall met with unanimous vote .
OTHER BUSINESS
There was discussion regarding the property being developed next to
Town Hall . Mr. Futernick suggested a letter from the Board to the
developer would be in order commending them on the cleanliness of
the project, as it pertains to the street appearance .
Recording Secretary will discuss this with Town Manager Mary Ann
Mariano before generating a letter.
Mr. Du Vall presented an update on other building in Town, one
being the Lang residence, and the unkept appearance of the site .
He stated that he spoke with Mr. Lang who said he would ensure that
the workmen keep the site cleaned up.
With no other business to come before the Board, MOTION to adjourn
was made by MR. BEHRMAN/MR. STEVENS at 10 : 10 a.m
