1998.03.26_CAB_Minutes_Regular TOWN OF HIGHLAND BEACH COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD REGULAR MEETING - MINUTES Thursday, March 26, 1998 9 : 32 A.M. Chairman Eugene I . Behrman called the Regular Meeting to order in Town Hall at 9 : 30 A.M. Deputy Town Clerk Jane Dillon called the roll . Present were Chairman Eugene I . Behrman, Vice Chair Theresa M. Colarullo and Members Abraham Futernick, Frank Savino, Beverly Barr and Miriam S . Zwick . Jack Lanthier was absent . Also present were Building Official Bob Dawson and members of the general public . APPROVAL OF MINUTES Upon MOTION by MR. FUTERNICK/MRS . COLARULLO, the minutes of the February 26 , 1998 Regular Meeting were unanimously approved. NEW BUSINESS PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR DEMOLITION OF EXISTING SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE . NEW CONSTRUCTION OF A TWO STORY SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE (SUBDIVISION OF EXISTING LOT) FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2454 S . OCEAN BLVD. , LOT #128 , BLOCK 1 . APPLICANT: ALBERT JACKMAN / OWNER: MR. AND MRS. SHUBERT. Mr . Jackman was present as representative for the project , offering explanation of the subject plans . Mr. Dawson stated that the plans met with Town Code . After viewing the the plans, the following MOTION was made by MRS . ZWICK/MR. FUTERNICK: THE COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD GIVES FINAL APPROVAL FOR DEMOLITION OF EXISTING SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE. NEW CONSTRUCTION OF A TWO STORY SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE (SUIVR 2454DS . OOCN EAN BLVD. , LOTNG L #1)28F0 BLOCK PROPERTY1 . APPLICANT: ALBERT JACKMAN / OWNER: MR. AND MRS . SHUBERT. Roilcall met with unanimous vote . PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR DEMOLITION OF EXISTING SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE AND BUILDING HOME, FOR INTRACOASTAL DRIVE, LOT 4 , BLOCK BEL LIDO. APPLICANT/OWNER:4 ANT/OWNER: DR. RICHARD CONLON. Dr. Conlon was present to answer any questions the Board had, one being the absence of landscaping plans . The Board asked that he submit plans to the Building Official, at which time the Board may view them individually within the Building Department . ZWICK: THE COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD GIVES FINAL APPROVAL FOR DEMOLITION OF EXISTING SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE AND BUILDING A NEW HOME, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4317 INTRACOASTAL DRIVE, LOT 4, BLOCK 4, BEL LIDO. APPLICANT/OWNER: DR. RICHARD CONLON, WITH THE PROVISION THAT DR. CONLON SUBMIT LANDSCAPING PLANS TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, FOR THE BOARD' S REVIEW, Rollcall met with unanimous vote . PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR FENCE INSTALLATION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1116 HIGHLAND BEACH DRIVE, LOT 10, BLOCK 2 (BEL LIDO) . APPLICANT: SOUTHERN FENCE / OWNER: JEFF GOFFMAN Mr. Goffman presented his plans to the Board, stating that he was replacing a chain link fence with an aluminum railed fence . After brief discussion the following MOTION was made by MR. FUTERNICK/MRS. COLARULLO: THE COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD GIVES FINAL APPROVAL FOR FENCE INSTALLATION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1116 HIGHLAND BEACH DRIVE, LOT 10, BLOCK 2 (BEL LIDO) . APPLICANT: SOUTHERN FENCE / OWNER: JEFF GOFFMAN Rollcall met with unanimous vote . Inspectors for the month of April are Mrs . Barr/Mr. Futernick.
