REGULAR MEETING - MINUTES
Thursday, June 25 , 1998 9 : 30 A.M.
Vice Chair Theresa M. Colarullo called the Regular Meeting to order
in Town Hall at 9 :30 A.M.
Deputy Town Clerk Jane Dillon called the roll . Present were Vice
Chair Colarullo, Members Miriam S. Zwick, Frank Savino, Beverly
Barr, Judith Lee Browner and Abraham Futernick . Jack Lanthier was
absent .
Also present were Building Official Bob Dawson and members of the
general public .
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Upon MOTION by MRS. ZWICK/MRS . BARR, the minutes of the May 28 ,
1998 Regular Meeting were unanimously approved.
NEW BUSINESS
PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE ON
EMPTY LOT, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4325 TRANQUILITY DRIVE, LOT 17,
BLOCK 3 . JIM DRAGO/ARCHITECT - JULIE RAMOS/OWNER.
John Quini, architectural representative was present to answer
questions from the Board after their review of plans . With all
questions answered satisfactorily the following MOTION was made by
MRS. ZWICK/MRS . BARR:
THE COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD GIVES FINAL APPROVAL FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF A SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE ON EMPTY LOT,
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4325 TRANQUILITY DRIVE, LOT 17 ,
BLOCK 3 , SUBJECT TO BUILDING INSPECTOR APPROVAL OF
FORTHCOMING IRRIGATION SYSTEM AND LIGHTING PLANS . JIM
DRAGO/ARCHITECT - JULIE RAMOS/OWNER.
Rollcall met with unanimous vote .
PRELIMINARY REVIEW OF DEMOLITION OF EXISTING STRUCTURE AND POOL;
CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW TWO-STORY SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE, FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4212 TRANQUILITY DRIVE, LOT 7, BLOCK 5 . DAVID
RUSTINE/CROWN CONTRACTORS - HEAVEN' S INVESTORS, INC. - OWNER.
Representative from Crown Contractors was present to discuss the
plans with the Board. After view of subject plans, and questions
answered, the following MOTION was made by MRS . ZWICK/MRS . BARR:

PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR FIVE FOOT HIGH PERIMETER ALUMINUM PICKET
RAILING FENCE, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4220 INTRACOASTAL DRIVE, LOT
22, BLOCK 4 , BEL LIDO. APPLICANT: THOMAS ANDREW - OWNER.
The Board reviewed the plans and found them to be in compliance .
Therefore, the following MOTION was made by MRS. BARR/MRS. ZWICK.
THE COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD GIVES FINAL APPROVAL FOR
INSTALLATION OF A FIVE FOOT HIGH PERIMETER ALUMINUM
PICKET RAILING FENCE, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4220
INTRACOASTAL DRIVE, LOT 22, BLOCK 4, BEL LIDO.
APPLICANT: THOMAS ANDREW - OWNER.
Rollcall met with unanimous vote .
n PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR FENCE INSTALLATION AROUND PERIMETER OF BACK-
YARD FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4229 INTRACOASTAL DRIVE, LOT 32 , BLOCK
4 , BEL LIDO. APPLICANT/OWNER: BARRY CORSO.
Dr. Corso was present to discuss his plans of installing a chain
link fence along the sides of his property, boarding the hedges of
both his neighbors . He plans on placing either an aluminum rail or
mesh fence (like the type used around pools) at the property line
by the waterway/seawall . The Board members suggested he contact
his neighbors in writing of his plans on fencing his property due
to the fact that it is their hedges which will be concealing the
chain link fence from them.
With no further questions from the Board, the following MOTION was
made by MRS . BARR/MRS . ZWICK:
THE COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD GIVES FINAL APPROVAL FOR
CHAINLINK AND ALUMINUM RAIL OR MESH FENCING AROUND
PERIMETER OF BACKYARD FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4229
INTRACOASTAL DRIVE, LOT 32 , BLOCK 4, BEL LIDO.
APPLICANT/OWNER: BARRY CORSO.
Rollcall met with unanimous vote .
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Upon MOTION by MRS . BARR/MRS . ZWICK, THERESA M. COLARULLO was
nominated as CHAIRPERSON of the COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD.
Upon MOTION by MRS . BARR/MR. SAVINO, MIRIAM S . ZWICK was nominated
as VICE-CHAIRPERSON of the COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD.

Inspectors for the month of July will be Mrs . Zwick and Mrs .
Browner.
With no further business to come before the Board, MOTION to
adjourn was made by MRS. COLARULLO/MR. FUTERNICR at 10 : 55 a.m.
