1999.09.16_CAB_Minutes_Regular TOWN OF HIGHLAND BEACH COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD REGULAR MEETING Thursday, September 16 , 1999 9 : 30 A.M. Chairperson Theresa Colarullo called the Regular Meeting to order in Commission Chambers at 9 : 30 A.M. Deputy Town Clerk Jane Dillon called the roll . Present were Chairperson Theresa Colarullo, Members Abraham Futernick, Beverly Barr, Judith Lee Browner and Neil W. Burd. Vice Chair Miriam S. Zwick and Rosalind Gatewood were absent . Building Official Bob Dawson and members of the general public were also present . APPROVAL OF MINUTES Upon MOTION by MR. FUTERNICK/MRS. BARR, the Minutes of the August 26 , 1999 Regular Meeting were unanimously approved. NEW BUSINESS PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW DETACHED GARAGE/STORAGE BUILDING, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2444 S . OCEAN ("1 BLVD. , BYRD BEACH, LOT 11A. APPLICANT: JOHN D. CONWAY, ARCHITECT/ OWNER: ALLAN & CHRISTINE GARDNER. John Conway, Architect for this project presented plans to the Board stating that subject building will house a boat and storage items . Building will have a copper roof, matching main house . Board examined landscaping plans, and with all questions answered, the following Motion was made by MR. FUTERNICK/MR. SURD: THE COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD GIVES FINAL APPROVAL FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW DETACHED GARAGE/STORAGE BUILDING, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2444 S . OCEAN BLVD. , BYRD BEACH, LOT 11A. APPLICANT: JOHN D. CONWAY, ARCHITECT/ OWNER: ALLAN & CHRISTINE GARDNER. MOTION met with unanimous vote . PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR DEMOLITION OF EXISTING HOUSE; CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4229 TRANQUILITY DRIVE, LOT 17/BLOCK 4 . APPLICANT: JOHN D. CONWAY, ARCHITECT / OWNER: PETE & ANNA HARBIN. John Conway, Architect for subject property was present to discuss landscaping and house plans, stating that house will be one-story, approximately 3 , 200 sq. ft . Board examined landscaping plans . APPLICANT: JOHN D. CONWAY, ARCHITECT / OWNER: PETE & ANNA HARBIN. MOTION met with unanimous vote . PRELIMINARY REVIEW FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW RESIDENCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2465 S . OCEAN BLVD. , LOT 5, BYRD BEACH. APPLICANT/OWNER: ADDISON CONSTRUCTION. Representative for applicant was unavailable . Bob Dawson presented plans to the Board, explaining that this home will also have a separate gate house . Board examined plans, and reviewed landscaping plans for same . The following MOTION was made by MR. FUTERNICK/MRS . BARR: THE COMMUNITY APPEARANCE BOARD GIVES FINAL APPROVAL FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW RESIDENCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2465 S . OCEAN BLVD. , LOT 5, BYRD BEACH. APPLICANT/OWNER: ADDISON CONSTRUCTION. MOTION met with unanimous vote . ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, Mrs .
