• TOWN OF HIGHLAND BEACH PLANNING BOARD PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES July 30, 2008 9:50 a.m. Chairman Louis P. Stern called the Public Hearing to order at 9:50 a.m. In attendance were Chairman Stern, Vice Chair Ken Tapman and Members Joseph Yucht, Marie Marchesani and Max Angel. Kurt Kalberer and Patricia Pembroke were absent. Also in attendance were Town Attorney Thomas E. Sliney, Building Official Robert Dawson and members of the general public. Chairman Stern noted that this was a Public Hearing to address the following application: CONSIDERATION FOR INSTALLATION OF A 20,000 LB. BOAT LIFT AND FOUR WOOD PILES FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1012 GRAND COURT. APPLICANT/OWNER: ANNE J. MAZZELLA. Recording Secretary noted that all the advertising/certified mail notifications had been met. Bill Thomas of South East Marine Construction and the contractor for the project, answered questions from the Board. As no issues were raised, the following Motion was made by Mr. Yucht/Mr. Tapman: • THE PLANNING BOARD GRANTS FINAL APPROVAL FOR INSTALLATION OF A 20,000 LB. BOAT LIFT AND FOUR WOOD PILES FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1012 GRAND COURT. APPLICANT/OWNER: ANNE J. MAZZELLA. MOTION carried unanimously. Aaaroval of Minutes Upon MOTION by Mr. AngeVMs. Marchesani, the minutes of the June 19, 2008 Regular/Workshop was unanimously approved. Upon MOTION by Mr. Yucht/Mr. Angel, the minutes of the June 19, 2008 Public Hearing was unanimously approved. Recording Secretary swore in all who would be testifying. New Business FINAL REVIEW FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A THREE STORY/SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE WITH POOL FOR PROPETY LOCATED AT 3719 S. OCEAN BLVD.; APPLICANT: SHANE AMES; OWNER: MARCO MUSA. • Mr. Hassan Tajalli, representative for the applicant, presented the plans to the Board noting that this is a three story house, with the pool area being in the setback of the house so as not to cross the CCCL line. The house is of south western architecture. After discussion, the following MOTION was made by Mr. Yucht/Mr. Angel: THE PLANNING BOARD GRANTS FINAL APPROVAL FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A THREE STORY/SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE WITH POOL FOR PROPETY LOCATED AT 3719 S. OCEAN BLVD.; APPLICANT: SHANE AMES; OWNER: MARCO MUSA. MOTION carried unanimously. FINAL REVIEW FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A SINGLE FAMILY THREE STORY HOUSE WITH POOL, NEW DOCK AND SEAWALL FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4320 TRANQUILITY DRIVE. APPLICANT: JOHN CONWAY; OWNER: LEE T. FERGUSON. Mr. John Conway, architect, presented that plans. This is a three story house, 7,000 sq.ft. Mediterranean style -new construction.
