Mayor Harold R. Hagelmann called the Special Meeting/Attorney-Client Private Session
# 3 to order in Commission Chambers at 10:15 A.M.
CALL TO ORDER:
Roll Call
: Members present: Mayor Harold R. Hagelmann; Vice Mayor Joseph J.
Asselta; Commissioner Miriam S. Zwick; Commissioner Jim Newill, CPA; and
Commissioner Doris M. Trinley. Also present: Town Attorney Thomas E. Sliney;
Attorney Larry Corman; Town Manager Dale S. Sugerman; Insurance Attorney George
P. Roberts; Town Clerk Beverly M. Brown and Court Reporter Mary Carnes.
Pledge of Allegiance:
The Pledge of Allegiance was stated.
1. TOWN ATTORNEY SLINEY
Attorney Sliney stated that this was an Attorney-Client Private Session held in
accordance with Section 286.011(8) of the Florida State Statutes. The required legal
ad was published on May 7, 2007 by the Town Clerk and will be made part of the
official record. The purpose of the Private Session is for the Town Commission and
Counsel to discuss settlement negotiations or strategy related to the litigation
expenses in the Case of Richard Olbrych V. Town of Highland Beach, Case No.
502006CA002497XXXXMB, and Notice of Claims dated August 11, 2005. The
entire Session will be recorded by a Certified Court Reporter. This Session will last
approximately one half (30) minutes.

Mayor Harold R. Hagelmann; Vice Mayor Joseph J. Asselta; Commissioner
Miriam S. Zwick; Commissioner Jim Newill, CPA; Commissioner Doris M.
Trinley; Town Attorney Thomas E. Sliney; Attorney Larry Corman; Town
Manager Dale S. Sugerman; Insurance Attorney George P. Roberts; and Court
Reporter Mary Carnes.

Mayor Hagelmann recessed the Special Meeting at 10:17 A.M. to excuse the
Town Clerk.
A the conclusion of the Attorney-Client Private Session, the Special Meeting was
Reconvened at 10:45 A.M. by Mayor Hagelmann. Town Clerk called the Roll.

further to discuss prior to adjourning the Public Meeting?
3.ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Hagelmann adjourned the Special Meeting/Attorney Client Special Session
