1989.10.18_CEB_Minutes_WorkshopS. TOWN OF HIGHLAND BEACH . CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD WORKSHOP MEETING - MINUTES Wednesday, October 18, 1989 9:30 A.M. Vice Chairman Pamela J. Perona called this Workshop Meeting of the Code Enforcement Board to order at 9:30 A.M. in Commission Chambers at Town Hall. Deputy Town Clerk Doris Trinley called the roll. Present were Vice Chairman Perona, Edward J. Pearlstein, Lowell R. Blum, Theodore F. Boepple and Horace Leng. Chairman William E. Paul and Joseph W. Sieff were absent. Also present were Town Manager Mary Ann Mariano, Building Official Harry Heithaus, Town Attorney David Friedman and members of the general public. OLD BUSINESS: CITATIONS 2298 AND.2298-1. HAROLD CHAMBERS, 2524 S. OCEAN BLVD., LOT 126. TOWN CODE, SECTIONS 8.1 AND 9-12.1. SATELLITE DISH TO BE RE- MOVED FROM POLE. PERMIT AND APPROVALS REQUIRED. • Building Official Harry Heithaus informed the Board that he had inspected the site and the satellite dish was still in place. There- fore Mr. Chambers was still in violation of Town Code, since he had not complied with the Board's Orders to remove the satellite dish from the pole it is attached to until such time as the requisite approvals from the Planning Board, Community Appearance Board and Town Commission are in place, as well as proper permits issued. CITATION 2296. RALPH/THERESA BASSOLINO, 2540 S. OCEAN BLVD., LOT 124N. TOWN CODE, SECTION 8. 1. ALL STRUCTURES OTHER THAN ORIGINALLY APPROVED DOCK TO BE REMOVED. Mr. Heithaus stated that he had received copies of correspondence from the Department of Environmental Regulation which indicate that permits have been applied for, but have not been approved as yet. NEW BUSINESS CITATION 2299. VINCENT BOLLING, 2575 S. OCEAN BLVD., APT. 405. TOWN CODE, SECTION 8.1 AND STANDARD BUILDING CODE 684.8 (1) AND (2). FIRE WALL MUST BE REINSTALLED PER FIRE CODE. DAN O'DONOVAN, 3008A S. OCEAN BLVD. STANDARD SWIMMING POOL CODE SEC. 314. POOL AND EQUIPMENT MUST BE PROPERLY GROUNDED. The Building Official stated that no application for permit had been received as yet from the electrical contractor on this job. CITATION 2303. MRS. FRANCES VISCO, 3511 S. OCEAN BLVD., LOT 86. TOWN CODE, SEC. 28-1/2-33. DESTRUCTION OF DUNE VEGETATION. Upon recent inspection, Mr. Heithaus noted that the furniture in ques- tion in this violation is still placed on the dune east of the CCCL. Since the Agenda for the Regular Meeting to follow was quite lengthy, it was the CONSENSUS of the members to adjourn the Workshop Meeting at this time, 9:45 A.M. APPROVE: - ABSENT - William E.
