CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD
WORKSHOP MEETING - MINUTES
Wednesday, July 18, 1990 9:45 A.M.
Vice Chairman Pamela J. Perona called the Workshop Meeting to order in
Commission Chambers at 9:45 A.M.
Deputy Town Clerk Doris Trinley called the roll. Present were the Vice
Chairman and Regular Members Edward J. Pearlstein, Lowell Blum, Theo-
dore F. Boepple, Merton Rubin, Horace Leng and Victor P. Hadeed.
Also present were Building Official Harry Heithaus, Town Attorney David
K. Friedman and members of the general public.
OLD BUSINESS
Citation 2288. Building Official Heithaus advised the members that
James Barry has complied with DNR regulations for property located at
4015 S. Ocean Blvd. by removing a boat ramp and relocating a gazebo
regarding the CCCL. Mr. Heithaus further advised that proper Town per=ms
mits for work to be done have been applied for and issued.
• Mr. Heithaus informed the members that the Third Wind, 4217 S. Ocean
Blvd., which has been the recipient of many violations in the past, has
been sold and will be demolished to accommodate a single-family resi-
dence.
Attorney Friedman advised the members that Dr. Alvin Jarrett had fully
complied with the fines/liens against property located at 1100A High-
land Beach Drive. The Citations (Nos. 2248 through 2252) and Orders
from the Code Enforcement Board were issued in 1985.
A discussion took place regarding amending the agenda of the Regular
Meeting immediately following this Workshop to include the Election of
Officers.
Because-,the violations to be considered under New Business were some-
what complicated, and in the interest of time, it was the Consensus of
the members to adjourn the Workshop at this time, take a very short re-
cess, and commence the Regular Meeting on time at 10:00 A.M. There-
. ore, this meeting was adjourned upon MOTION by Mr. Leng/Mr. Pearlstein
