REGULAR MEETING - MINUTES
Wednesday, December 18, 1991 10.00 A M
Vice Chairman Victor P. Hadeed called the Regular Meeting to order in
Commission Chambers at 10:00 A.M.
Deputy Town Clerk Doris Trinley called the roll. Present were the Vice
Chairman and Members Theodore F. Boepple, Horace Leng, Merton Rubin and
Ellen B. Gerber. Chairman Pamela J. Perona and Member Arthur Hamerman
were absent.
Also present were Town Attorney Kenneth E. Zeilberger, Code Enforcement
Officer Harry Heithaus and members of the general public. Commissioner
John F. Rand was also in attendance.
OLD BUSINESS
In addition to Citation 2330 being complied with (see Workshop
Minutes), Mr. Heithaus advised that Citation 2328, issued to Jeffrey
and Lisa Miller, 1133 Boca Cove Lane, for violation of Chapter 30,
• Section 8.1 (no permits for conversion of garage into playroom) had
also come into compliance. He said the Millers had gone before the
Planning and Community Appearance Boards, per the CEB's order, and ob-
tained approval from both.
When it was determined that the Millers had not been formally notified
that the Citation was satisfied, it was requested by Vice Chairman
Hadeed that this be done as soon as permits are applied for.
NEW BUSINESS
Citation No. 2331. Issued to Lillian Aaron, 2909 S.Ocean Blvd., #1-C.
Chapter 30, Section 8.1 and SSBC Section 103 (Storm Shutters installed
Without Permit).
Jerry Goldstein was sworn in and stated that he was Ms. Aaron's repre-
sentative today. He gave the background for the installation of the
shutters, concluding with the promise that they will be taken down
during this week (week of December 16, 1991) and proper application for
permit will be made.
Mr. Goldstein was reminded that upon application for permit, written
approval from the Condominium Association must be submitted, which he
acknowledged.
fter some further discussion, MOTION by Mrs. Gerber/Mr. Leng was made

Regular Meeting - Minutes
'December 18, 1991 Page 2 of 2
THE CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD FINDS LILLIAN AARON IN VIOLATION
OF CHAPTER 30, SECTION 8.1 AND SSBC SECTION 193 AND ALLOWS
HER TEN (10) DAYS TO REMOVE SHUTTERS FROM APARTMENT 1-C AT
2999 S. OCEAN BOULEVARD AND APPLY FOR PERMIT.
The Motion met with unanimous favorable vote.
Shortly after Mr. Goldstein thanked the panel and left the meeting,
Stuart Gardner, Vice President of the Wiltshire House Condominium
Association, entered the Chambers and identified himself. Having heard
none of Mr. Goldstein's testimony, he was sworn in and gave his version
of the installation of the shutters and how the Association came to
file a complaint against Ms. Aaron, which included that not only were
the shutters unlike those existing on the building, they were also
installed on a day when their Building Manager was not on duty.
Vice Chairman Hadeed thanked Mr. Gardner for his statement and advised
him what course of action the Board had taken.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting
was adjourned upon MOTION by Mr. Leng/Mr. Boepple at 10:15 A.M.
