The meeting was called to order at 7;45 p,m« by ~~ayor Smith, Also present were Comm: Noble, Harmon, Skillman & Hcrtwig« A~"inutes of the meeting of 10/5/54 were read and approved on motion of Comm« Noble,. seconded by Comm. Harmon and the affirmative votes of all .five commissioners present. Comm. Hertwig reported that the current monthly three samples of ' The Town water were certified as satisfactory by the Florida State Board of Health under date of October 11, 1954. There was general discussion of the water treatment using Formula 115 and it was generally agreed that although no final decision on the effects of the treatment could be rrlade at this time, it would be only fair to the Fure Water Froducts Company to agree that we would pay them for whatever of their material was used by the Town. Comm. Hcrtwig reported that as agreed at the prior meeting held on 10/5/54, he had met with Town Attorney Byrd and shown him the copies of correspondence with the First Federal Savings & Loan Assn of Del- -. ray Beach, relative to t'ne security of Town funds in excess of the sum of Tcn Thousand Dollars« Comm, Picrtwig reported that "After "reading the Correspondence Attorney Byrd stated that the matter • "was clear beyond any question of a doubt, that Town Funds in excess "of-Ten Thousand Dollars were not secured and could not be secured "under the conditions set forth in the letters Deferred to," After general discussion it was decided to place the excess Ten Thousand Dollars in the Lake '~Yorth Fea~eral Savings & Loan Association, Comm, Harmon moved that the Town Treasurer be authorized and dir- CCted to transfer TenThousand Dollars from the First Federal ~av- ingS & Loan Assn of Delray Beach to the Lakc GVorth Federal Savings & Loan Association. The motion was seconded by Comm. I~7oble and approved 1~ affirmative votes of all five commissioners present. Comm, Harmon moved the passage of Late Worth Federal Savings and Loy depository for the Towns General motion and it was approved by the commissioners present. Resolution pages of these minutes.
