M. ~' Present were Comm:'Dubendorff, Heaton, Smith, Tottsrdale & Hartwig. Minutes of the preeQding meet:were read by the clerk. Lotion::.. to approve was made by Comm. Dubendorff seconded by ~©mm. Smith :and passed- b~y affir~ative votes of .all ~ve Comm, present. Clerk Hartwig ~repc-rtec that the completed contract had been re- eeived, between the Tovaa and the City of Delray ..Beach, for a temporary water .sepply' pending the completion of the. Town water works and canal crossing, '. Clerk Fieptwigpointed out that 'some regulation would be in order.- to establish .rates. to be paid for the water under theabove'men- tioned contract. It was suggested that an ordinance. or resolution be prepared for passage at-the next meeting to cover this matter. Comm. Smith moved-that this be don®: The motion was seconded<by t4 Comm.'Heaton and Passed by affirmative votes of Comm. Dubendorff~. Heaton, Smith, Tottsrdale and'Hertwig~ with no dissent. Clerk Hartwig reported that Engineer Brockway had returned the ~ proposed contract. with'the Florida Power & Light Co for electric power at the Water Works ~'lant. Said contract being approved by i ` Mr. Brockway and now being ready for execution, Comm. Smith moved. that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to: execut® said c©ntract Frith the- Florida Power & Light Co. Comm; Neaten seconded the motion and it was passed by. affirmative votes of Comm.:Dubendorff, Heatoa, Smith,: Tcitterdale and Hartwig, there- being no, dissent:.. The general beleif was that there teas no proper place for them in the Towns that they. would definitely be :detrimental to all property~rralues and that .proper legislation sh©uld be passed to prevent any chamce of their establishment.
