P=~I1~IU`i'ESM=~=~Hi~;hland Beach Town Commission---June 9, 195© a resumption of the regular meeting recessed June $, 1950. • The meeting eras called to order at 10:30 A. lei, by Tv~ayor Totterdale. Present were Comm. Dubendorff, Heaton, Smith, Totterdale &; Hertvrig, Town Attorney Byrd was present to advise on special matters. 3y unanimous consent the reading of minutes of the previous meeting was postponed until a later date. The clerk presented for consideration, Engineer Brockvray's Certi- ficate of final acceptance of the ~°Jater Plant, and his final ~st- imate for the ~,rork of Howard L. Cromer, the Contractor. At a conver- sation before the meeting the several commissioners had explained to I~Ir. Cromer that they tirished to pad the major part of his account but that some balance would be vrithheld in order to protect the Town until 30 days from the final estimate date. Accordingly Comm. Duben- dorff moved that the Tovrn Treasurer be and he hereby is ,authorized and directed to pay Howard L. Cromer the sum of ~26,~1~$35 on account of the final estimate, leaving a balance due him of vp2,800,00 which will be paid early in July if final acceptance of the Water Plant is proper at that time. Comm. Hertwig seconded the motion and it was passed by the affirmative votes of Comm. Dubendorff , Heaton, Smith, Totterdale ~; Hertwig, with no dissent. Comm. HertUrig moved that payment of 7~.1~22 be made to George S. ]3rockway for Engineering services, leaving a balance due him to the amount of c'~500;00 to be paid at a later date. Comm,' Dubendorff sec- onded the motion and it ZAras passed by the affirmative votes of Comm. Dubendorff, Heaton, Smith, Totterdale and Hertwig with no dissent. Comm. Smith moved that payment of ~11~06.00 be made to Byrd and btihitley for legal services, leaving a balance due them to the Amount of ~~.97.20 to be paid at a later date. The motion was seconded by Comm. Heaton and it was passed by the affirmative votes of Comm. Dubendorff, Heaton, Smith, Totterdale and Hertrwig with no dissent. • The clerk presented bill from Howard L. Cromer for road work at the 4~ater works in the amount of ~~22$.00 Comm. Hertwig moved that in accordance with previous arrangements the bill be authorized for payment from the funds received from the county for road vrork. The motion was seconded by Comm. Heaton and passed by the affirm- ative votes of~ Comm. Dubendorff, Heaton, Smith, Totterdale ~~ Hertwig, there being no dissent. On motion of Comm. Heaton seconded by Comm.
