• a resumption of the regular-meeting recessed June 9, 1950.
The meeting was called to order at 7:x.0 P. ]~~. by T~~a.yor Totterdale.
Present were Comm. Dubendorff, Heaton, Smith, Totterdale ~f Hertwig.
T~Tinutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved on motion
of Comm. Smith, seconded by Comm. Heaton and affirmative votes of
all five commissioners present.
The clerk read letter from George S. Brocl~day, dated June 15th in
~rhich I~~~r. Brockway agreed that his total .fee for engineering ser-
vices on the vaater works would be ~;~~., 500, 00 ,
The clerk read letter from ~~. t~T. H. Kirk nntlining his proposal
for inspection and maintenance service at the water works. The
matter t~ras tabled for consideration at the next meeting, so the
clerk could look up several related matters.
The clerk read letter from C. Y. Byrd, transmitting deeds from
Pk.r. Byrd granting easements for the water main from the water
ti~rorks to the Prodanov trac+~. i'he clerk was directed to file the
papers
The clerk read preliminary draft of a resolution concerning the
• submerged lands between the meander lines and taras requested to
have same completed in proper form for passage at an~early meeting.
=~y unanimous agreement the clerk was requested to prepare broiler
papers to make final payment to Hoti°rard L. Cromer of the :2,000.00
balance, due on his contract for the Urater works.
On motion of Comm. Smith, seconded by Comm. Dubendorff and passed
by affirmative votes of all five commissioners present, the clerk
was authorized and directed to issue a l~ meter to Robert Totterdale
with other material from the tom supplies and to bill him therefore
at the rate of cost plus 10~a. This practice to be follo~red in future
sales, of water connection materials from the tom supply, until
some other mathod or price is decided upon. Also to re-order another
1Tt meter so as to have one on hand.
I:ayor Totterdale reporting for the committee on licenses and permits
stated that the committee would take up further the matter of those
parties ?rho have failed to apply for licenses.
On motion of Comm. Heaton, seconded by Comm; I~ert~?ig and passed
by affirmative votes of all five commissioners present, the meet-
