Plans were submitted for an additional unit to be erected by owner

law cannot become effective before August 10th. Furthermore the olJner
on the north will probably desire an exception to the ten foot_re-
q{uirement at a later date 'oecause of the narrowness of the lot. For
these reasons it Maas decided to approve the plans as submitted.
Comm. Dubendorff moved that the plans be approved and permit issued;
Comm. Smith seconded the motion and it was approved by affirmative
votes of all five commissioners present.
The clerk reported an inquiry from the Delray Plumbing ,~:-, Specialty
Co. , concerning; a !rater connection for the ne!J Chipman residence.
The questions involved were discussed at some length. The clerk was
directed to advise the Delray Plumbing Company that upon full com-
pliance with the townTS standard gec!uirements, it would be author-
ized to make the connection. The motion was made by Comm. Hertzrig;,
seconded by Comm. Dubendorff and approved by affirmative votes of
all five Commissioners present.
Comm. Hert!aig moved that a collapsible ladder be purchased at a
cost of ~~17.25 to be kept in the ~~~tater ~rJorks pump house to provide
access to the valve on the tank. The motion was seconded,by Comm.
Smith and approved byeaffirmative votes of all five Commissioners.
Comm. Du'oendorff moved that Samuel Roth be authorized at a cost
not to exceed f~3500 to build a concrete block recess north of the
south pump house, to be used. as- a deliv,,~~r'~r pit for the. townts sup-
ply of hypochloride. Seconded by Cot!uMI. Smith ~, passed unanimously.
On motion of Comm. Hertwig seconded by COI~~I. Heaton the Tax Collector
is authorized to issue licenses and permits submitted numbering
1021 to 1031 inclusive. The motion was approved by affirmative vote s
of all five Commissioners present.

ule of receipts and disbursements for the coming fiscal year there
being a wide divergence of opinion on the item of pest control,'~Th-e =- . e ,--z
entire schedule was tabled by general consent for consideration at a .~;

On motion of Comm. Smith, seconded by Comm. Dubendorff .x~ and ap-
proved by affirmative votes of all five Commissioners present, the

The meeting ~,ras called to order by TVlayor Totterdale at 2:30 P. M.
Present were Comm. Dubendorff, Heaton, Smith, Totterdale ~ Hartwig.
The Town Clerk, reported that he had kept regular office hours at
the Town Hall on July 6th, 7th and $th which were the three days
following the first meeting,of the Board of Equualizers, held on
July 5th 1850, and that no persons had a ?pea red or communicated
any objection or protest concerning the assessment rolls t~rhich as
as presented by the Tax Assessor on July 5, 1950, shows the assess-
ment roll of property within the Town of Highland Beach, for the
year 1950 at the following valuations:

l~l-iEREAS the Town Commission met as a Board of Equalizers at the Tou~m
Hall in the To•~,m of Highland Beach on the 5th and 2$th day of July,
1850, and at~said meetings it heard all complaints by tax payers in
reference to the assessed valuations placed on the Assessment Roll
by the Tovm fax Assessor, and it ~^ras found that the Tax Assessment
Roll as prepared by the Tax Assessor eras fair, reasonable and just;
P30W THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said real estate and tangible
personal property to x roll for 1950, as submitted 'oy the Tov~m Tax
Assessor,~be and the same is hereby equalized and adjusted
as ren.uired bylaw, a nd the same is accented as being fair, just
and equal as to valuations.
On rj~otion duly made seconded and carried, the above resolution
