Regular rionthly meeting.
The meeting was called to order at '~ : 30 P Hit by P~Iayor Totterdale.
Present were Comm. Dubendorff, IIeaton, Smith, Totterdale Ps Hertwig.

Comm. Heaton, seconded by Comm. Smith .and affirmative votes of all
five commissioners present.
The clerk reported receipt of a letter from the telephone company
concerning a franchise and related matters. The consensus of opinu.on
t•ras that nothing tnras to be gained' by taking any action at this time a
and the matter was tabled b~T unanimous agreement.
On motion of Conan. Dubendorff, seconded by Comm. Smith and passed by
affirmative votes of all five commissioners present, the issuance of
Licenses ;;'1032 to.1031~ eras approved and directed.
On motion of Comm. Smith, seconded by Comm. Dtzbendorfz" and passed by
affirmative votes of all five commissioners present the treasurer eras
authorized to pay the follo~°ring bills; Biscayne Chemical Lab. X6.00,
W. H. Kirk-~50. ~0, George W. Brockway- ~~11~.00.
The treasurer submitted current financial statement of the Town fi-
nances and it appears on page 2 of these minutes.
i~~ayor Totterdale submitted a revised and corrected schedule of
estimated receipts and disbursements for the coming fiscal year.
The schedule is shoom on page 3 of these minutes.
After general discussion it was decided that the 'schedule could be
anx~roved as to most items but there ti°ras some opposition to the
item of `;1,600,00 listed for nest control. Comm. Hertti^rig zrished
to place on record his objection to the spending of any substantial
sum for pest control, at least until the residents and taxpayers of
the Town T~~rere given a chance to express their ~~rishes in the matter.
T~ir, Raymond Langlois, a resident and taxpayer, was present and spoke
in favor of doing something to control sand gnats.
Comm. Hertwig moved that to establish the tax millage, the P~Iayors
fiscal schedule be approved subject to the approval of its form by
the Toti+rn Attorney, and provided no major sums be approved for actual
expenditure until the wishes of the taxpayers ti°rere ascertained.
Comm. Dubendorff seconded the motion and it was passed by aff irma-
tive votes of all five commissioners present.

comm. Dubendorff moved that~the sum of X210.00 be authorized to pay
for six experimental foggings so the residents could have some basis
on which to decide how far they wished to go in the matter of pest
control. Comm. Smith seconded the motion and it was passed by af-
firmative votes of Comm; Dubendorff, Heaton, Smith & Totterdale,
with. Comma Hertwig voting against the motion.
On motion of Comm. Smith, seconded by Comm. Hertwig and amassed by
affirmative votes of all five commissioners present, the meeting
