Regular monthly meeting.
• The meeting was called to order by ~~.yor Totterdale at 7:30 p m
Present were Comm. Dubendorff, Heaton, Smith, Totterdale ~ Hertwig.
t~Iinutes of the preceding meeting ~~1ere read. Approval of same t~ras
deferred pending a correction relating to vote on resolution X16.
Bid was presented from H. L. Cromer for installation of afire
hydrant at north end for purpose of flushing the water main.
~~fter some discussion the matter was tabled by general consent.
~"lr. Robert Totterdale presented for the Tov~m files statements of
the costs paid by him privately for installing bra and 2ti water mains
to his sub-division -,rest of AlA. By general agreement the statements
~~rere placed on file for reference at such time as it may be proper
to consider the question of a refund by the Town.
On motion of Comm. Heaton, seconded. by Comm. Smith and ~oassed by
affirmative votes of all five Commissioners present, licenses
1035 to 1037 vlere approved.
On motion of Comm. Smith, seconded by Comm. Dubendorff and passed
by affirmative votes of Comm. Dubendorff, Heaton, Smith ~C Totterdale,
the treasurer v~ras authorized and directed to pay 'pill of Broward
Exterminating Co in the amount of X7$•75 for sand fly fogging.
On motion of Comm. Heaton seconded by Comm. Dubendorff, and passed
by affirmative votes of a~.l five commissioners present the treasurer
was authorized to pay 39:t~6 to H. L. Cromer for miscellaneous items
used in operation of the water works.
Gn motion of~Comm. Dubendorff~ seconded by Comm. Smith and passed
by affirmative votes of all five commissioners present, the treasurer
was authorized to pay bill of Ira. H. Dirk to the amount of ~~55.00
and bill of Ocean City Lumber CO. to the amount of `~~24~65 .
Comm. Dubendorff read an outline of a proposed statement to be
sent to all property ot,mers giving a summary of developments of ,
the Towns affairs. He tr~as requested to continue and complete it.
On motion of Comm. Heaton, seconded by Comm. Hertwig~ and passed
by affirmative votes of all five commissioners present, the meeting
was recessed until September 1$, 11950 at 7De:30~ p. m
