Regular monthly meeting;.

Present were Comm. Dubendorff, Heaton, Smith, Totterdale R Hertzrig,
T~Iinutes of the preceding meeting ?°rere read and approved on motion of
Comm. Heaton, seconded by Comm. Dubendorff, and affirmative votes of
all five co~missioriers present.
^lhe c7_erk read letter from the County Con~rnission rea~uesting support
of the policy barring heavy traffic from AlA. After some discussion
the matter was tabled by unanimous agreement for later consideration.
T4'Iayor Totterdale stated that this ti=ras the time to designates three
commissioners to represent the ToUm on the P. B. County Resources
Developr~~ent Board. Comm. Herttrig moved that the treasurer be author-
ized to issue check fo r ~p~500 annual dues to the above mentioned
Board, and that the l~Zayor designate Comm. Heaton, Smith ~r Totterdalea
to attend meetings and represent the ToT1rn; Totterdale to serve three
years, Heaton- two years and Smith one year. The motion eras seconded
by Comm. Heaton and passed by affirmative votes all five commissioners.
There was discussion about the si~?;n at the northerlsr totArn limits the
matter having been tabled at the meeting of September lE~th. since the
ToTm has no definite plans to enforce speed reg;t7.lati ons a.t this time,
• it was felt the sign had no particular value and could be removed.
Corim. Hertwig moved that the si~~n be taken dot~m and stored for the
present. Comm. Smith seconded the motion and it was passed by affirm-
ative votes of Comm. Dubendorff, Smith, Totterdale ~ Hertwig, with
Comm. Heaton voting against the motion.
T~Ir. Frank T~~Iize of Lake tVorth was present to discuss the matter of a
niece of fire equipment for the Town. The commission ~,ras unanimous
in agreeing that the Town could not afford anything of this nature
for some time, but agreed to consider the matter from all angles to
see if the property owners of the Town might want to do something a-
long the lines of private contributions.
On motion of Comm. Hertti~ri~, seconded by Comm. Heaton and passed by
affirmative votes of all five commissioners present, the meeting was
recessed until October 16th at 7:30 pm.

sactions in the interim, no Treasurers statement ~~rill be sub-
mitted until the end of October.
