directors meeting of the P. B. County Resources Dev. Board.

The remainderof the meeting consisted of a lengthy discussion ~~ the
matter of sand gnat control in the ToT~:m. In r~eneral the commissioners
~•rere in favor of purchasing for e~~.50.00 a. specially built vehicle
?~rhich could travel on the beach and lay dotfm a fob; t~rhich the nrevail-
ing east urind ti•rould carrp vrest?~.rard over the coastal dune and on into
the mangrove s.^ramp to the ~~rest of AlA. In this they ?>rere supported by
three property o~mers present as mentioned above. Comm. I-?ert~~rig ob-
jected to the expenditure of Tovm funds for this purpose because of the
ne?,miss of the Town and the fact that because of thiat ne?,•rness the
finances of the To~,m. ~=~rere on a purely theoretical 'oasis and ?~~ould con-
. time to be so , at least for the next gear. Comm. DL~bendorf moved as
f ollot~rs; Moved that .;50.00 be rele~.sed from the ToT~m treasury to ac-
c+uire a ~0 day option to purchase a nglades Buggytt for the use of nest
control. If ~~rithin 60 days the Tov~m Commission shall approve the use of
To?gym funds to purchase said ~tglades bug~;y't at a total cost of :~1~5000,
then said option shall be exercised. If ~E'or an~r reason said ~~50,00
option rcioney shall become .forfeited, the To?,m shall be reimbursed 'oy

Cor?im Smith, and passed by affirmative votes of Comm. Dubendorff, Jmith,
Heaton ~~ Totterdale. Comm, Hert~rig voted against the motion.
On motion of Comma Dubendorff, seconded by Comm, Heaton and affirmative
votes of all five comm. present, the meeting ?;~ras adjourned. The next
