`~ The meeting tiaras called to order at 7:30 n, m. by A'fayor Totterdale.
Present were Comm. Baton, Smith, Tatterdale ~ Hertwig. ~Zayor Tot-
terdale reported that Corgi. Dubendorff ~rould not attend because of
illness in the family.

Comm. Hertwig apologized for failure to have the, nreviov.s minutes
s-rritten up , he having been under the impression. that-the meeting
was scheduled for the follot~ing day, which impress~,on was erroneous.
T~~ayor Totterdale presented~aletter from an insurance agency a~uoting
various figures on the several kinds o~ insurance which might be ap-
plicable for protectidh ~f the Town. in connection with the use 'of the
glades buggy, The ~.yor also presented a memo from Comm; Dubendorff
giving some figures on co''~ts ofr insecticide and solvent and the
proportions o be used .for fogging against sand gnat's. He'#also trrrpte
and presente a memorandum a Being to purchase the glades buggy'
from the Tour at a price of 50.00 if at the end of~six months the
Toz~~n decides that it does not ti~rish to keep said glades buggy.
Comm. Hert~.~rig st~.ted that-the above mentioned tapers could in no way
be construed as a memorandum outlining the entire sand gnat project
as called for by the motion passed at the preceding meeting , the
?purpose of said motion being to dace on record the complete facts
and figures on which the commission was basing its action concern-
in:~; the sand gnat project.

Comm. Hertz-.rig again outlined reasons why he beleived the project
Maas`ill advised and should. be dropped or at .least deferred until the ,
tax payers had. an opportunity to inform the commission of their wishes.

~.fter some discussion it was agree by all four commissioners pre-
sent to postpone final action on t e matter and to try to get the t
taxpayers to attend the t meeting ~.nd state their views.. As the.
r4`ext meeting scheduled wazld be January 2nd it eras unanimously de-
cided ~o recess from that date to January lath ~~rhich. E~rould be a better
date on t-rhich to secures the attendance of .the tax p~.yers.
On motion of Comm.- ~?eaton, ~~~ondecl by Comm. Hertt~g and passed by
affirmative votes of all four commissioners ?resent the meeting ~,ras
adjourned. The next meeting twill be the regu.r monthly meeting to
be on Tuesday Janu~.ry 2nd and ~rhich by general consent is to be rese
cessed to Thursday January hth at 7:30 p m:
