February 13, 1962.
The regular monthly meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. on
February 6, 1962. Except for Town Manager Hertwig, no others were
present and so for lack of a quorum Comm. Turner declared the
meeting recessed until February 13, 1962 at ?:30 p.m.
The recessed meeting was called to order by Mayor Eypel at ?:30
p.m, on February 13, 1962. Also present were Comm~rs Bertash, y~ones,
Noble and Turner and-Town Manag®r Hertwthgg.
Minutes of the meeting of 8anuary 2, 1962 and January 9, 1962 were
read and approved on motion of Comm. Turner, seconded by Comm. Roble
and the affirmative votes of Comm~rs Bertash, Eypel, Jones, Roble
and Turner.
The Town Manager advised that Town Elections would have to be held
this spring-and that it would be in order for the Commission to
make the necessary arrangements. Comm. Turner moved that the Mayor
be directed to issue the proper notices at the correct time and hake
any other necessary steps for the elections. Comm. Jones seconded
the motion which wac approved by the affirmative votes of Comm~rs
Bertash„ Eypel, Jones, Koble and Turner.
Tt~.e Town Manager requested approval for payx-ent of the following
non routine expenditures; to Howard Lee Cromer, Inc., X328.15
for conversion of steamer connections oa fire hydrants--to Rm. H.
Kirk, X10?.38 for corrected invoice dated January 1, 1962 for spe~•
vial parts and maintenance at the water works-to Havens Bulldozing
service for work on the shoulders of Ocean Boulevard, the sum of
X31.25. Comm. 1loble moved that the three aforementioned items be
approved for payment. Comm. Turner seconded the motion and it was
approved by the affirmative votes of Comm~rs B®rtash, Eype1, Jones,
1loble and Turner.
The meeting was ad3ourned on motion of Comm. Koble, seconded by
Comm. Bertash and the aff irmative votes of Commtrs Bertash, Eypel,
Jones, xoble and Turner.
