September 4, 1962. ~~ L The meeting was called to order by Mayor Eypel at 7:40 p.m, on September 4, 1962, Also present were Commis Jones, Noble and Turner Fend Town Manager Hertwig. Comm. Bertash was absent. Minutes of the meeting of August 7, 1962 were read and approved on motion of Comm. Jones, seconded by Comm. Noble and the affirmative votes of Commis Eypel, Jo~ies, Noble and' Tyner. 'The approval of minutes as set forth in the preceding paragraph, ins cludec~ also the minutes of the final meeting of the Equalization Board on Tax Assessments, held the same day. Comm. Bertash arrived at 8:10 p.m. and took part in the rest of the meeting. Mayor Eypel advised that he had no changes to make in the figures which he had previously submitted as a tentative budget and that he would submit those f igues as a f anal budget for the coming year in the following resolution. TOWN OF HIGHLAND BEACH, FLORIDA.. RESOLIITION N0. 112. APPROVING FINAL BiTDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR STARTING 11/1/62 AND SETTING TAX MILEAGE ON THE 1962 TAX ROLL. ~' WHEREAS the Mayor has submitted a statement of estimated revenue and expense for the fiscal year starting November 1, 1962, which state- ment appears on the following page of this resolution; AND WHEREAS said statement has been carefully considered by the Town Commission of the Town of Highland Bead, Florida, and is believed to truly represent .the expected income and expense of the Town of Highland Beach, Florida for the fiscal year starting Novemberl, 1962; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Commission of the Town of Highland Beach, Florida, that the statement as it appears on the following page of this resolution bey and it hereby is, approved as the Final Budget of the Town of Highland Beach for the fiscal y®ar starting November 1, 1962. AND BE ST FURTHER RESOLVED that the total tax millage of 3.4 as re- commended and specified in said statement, is hereby approved as the correct millage to be collected by the Tax Collector on the Tax Assessment Roll for the year 1962. On motion duly made,seconded and carried, the foregoing resolution was adopted the 4th day of September, a.d., 962. 1 f Mayor r m ayor Comm. Comm. r � Gr Comm. Attest Town Clerk -------------------------- The members of the Commission discussed and analyzed the figures in the Mayor's final budget estimates as set forth in foregoing resolu- tion #112 and no changes or suggestions were offered. Comm. Jones moved that resolution #112, approving the budget for the fiscal Year starting November 1. 1962 be adopted as read. Comm. Noble seconded the motion and it was approved by the affirmative votes of Commis Bertash, Eypel, Jones, Noble and Turner. There was no dissent. The meeting was adjourned on motion of Comm. Bertash, seconded by Comm. Turner and the affirmative votes of Commis Bertash, Eypel, Jones, Noble and Turner. (end of minutes) Approved, r
