Acca_rdin~ly Vice-P%ayor Turner :1e- clared the ~~eetin>~~ adjourned for lack o~' a quorum. The I~~arch x~eetin~ was called to order at '7:30 p.m. on T.:arch 7, 1961, by Vice Mayor Turner. No others were rresent except Totem iviana~er Iiertvri~ and so for lack of a quoruri, Vice I~riayor Turner declared the meeting recessed to `7:30 p.~~_. on Iviarch 14, 1961. Turner and Town I~~anager ITerttivi~. Co~rsfi. Bertash was absent. Irinutes of the rteetina°s of January 3, 1961 and January 17, 1961 were read and approved on motion of Comr.9.. Turner, seconded by Comm. itioble and the affir~aative votes of Cor~~~'rs Eypel, Jones, T?oble and. Turner. The I:ayor presented anc} read letter dated 3,~10~61, -from the ~'.I.Tv.D. relatin~~ to the projected dredging operations vrhen the Intracoastal. :'~`atert~lay is ir.~proved and deepened. Cor~?~. Turner raved that the Town P:ar_ager be authorized and directed to reply to the letter and to say that the Tawn would endeavor to cooperate in every possible vray. The ~aotion ~^aas secondedA by Co*_~r~. Jones and ar.~~;roQed. by the affirmative votes of Co~r'rs rypel, Jones, Tdoble and Turner, without dissent. The Totem 1'~anaQer .requested approval of several impending, d~.sburse- r~ents of large sLtms as follows; County Sanitation--"'60.00 quarterly pa~r~!ent--Garbage contract; ~enr~T L•i7_ienthal---:300.00 annual retainer as Town Attorney; ., ,r :" 200 ^0 Ann. get. as Tarn r:ngineers. Lrockway, ~::'eber ~~ Brockr ay ,~4, . ~,. CorE~•. Jones moved that the above three listed di.sburser~zents be ap- proved. Co~~u~. T~°oble seconded the notion and it was approved by the affirmative votes of Cor~nz'rsFynel, Jones, T1TOble and Turner. There vas no dissent. r`OT.ir~.
