1961.10.24_TC_Minutes Minutes. Highland Beaoh 2oPwn Commission. October 3, 1661 (Regular monthly meeting) October 24,.1961 The monthly meeting was called to order by Comm. Turner at 7:30 p.m, on October 3, 1961. No others were present except Town Manager Hartwig and so for lack of a quorum, Caamn. Turner declared the meet ing recessed to 7:30 p.m. on October 24, 1961. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Eypel at 7:l10 p.m, on Oct~» Ober 24,.1961. tlso present were Comm'ra lgobla and Jones and Town 1~anager Hartwig. Commis Bertash and Turner were absent, ,~ Minutes of the meetings of September S, 1961 and September 25, 196i wer® road and approved on motion of C omm, Jones, seconded by C ot~m. Noble and the affirmative votes of Commis Eypel, Jones & Xoble. Thera was discussion about the feasibility study now under way for ep«-operative action between the neighboring towns on the matter of refuse eoliection and disposal. It was generally agreed by the mem-- bars of the co®mission that there would be no advantage to the town to continue further in the matter and bygeneral agreement the Town Manager was directed to so report by letter to the committee from the several towns and cities which is considering the matter. On motion of Comm. Jones, seconded by Comm, lfoble and the affirmaw tine votes of Cc~anm'rs Eypel, Jones and Roble the Town Manager was authorized to pay bill of Kallace & Tiernan the sum of X210.00 for new chlorine manifold per invoice #11811816«2A, The Town Manager offered prepared resolution #104 authorizing the purchase of a new location for the Town water wells. Preliminary authorization for the purchase had been given at an earlier meet ing. CommRobl® moved their the resolution #104 be approved. The mo- tion was seconded by Comnn. Jones and adopted on the affirmative votes of Coanm'ra Eypel, Jones and Roble, without dissent. Resolution #104 appears ifl full on the f©llowing page of these minutes.
