(Minutest Highland. Beach Town Commission. May 6 & 7, 1,958. A regular- monthly meeting. ~,. ~„~, ~, The meeting was called to order at 9;30 a.m.~yby Town Clerk Bertash but because ©P the obvious interference of the election no other members of the Town Commission were present and so lacking a quorum Carom. Bertash declared the meeting recessed until 1:00 p.m, on .the Following day, May '~, 1958. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Eypel at 1:00 p.ffi. oa May 7, 1958. Also present were Ccmm~rs Bertash, Breckinridge and Noble. Comm. Winston was absent being out oP town. Town Mir Hartwig was present. Minutes oP the meeting oP April 15, 1958 were read and approved on motion of Comm.. Breekinridge, seconded by Comm.. Noble and the aPPirm- ative votes oP Comm~rs Bertash, Breckinridge, Noble and Eypel. There was no dissent. Highland Beach Town Commission. May 7, 1958 (Election:)' A Special Meeting held in accordance with the Election Ordinance ®f the Town, to canvass the Election results. The meeting was called to order at 12:00 1~oon by Mayor Eypel. Also present were Comm~rs Bertash, Breckinridge and Noble and Town Manager Hertwig. Comm. 1Vinston was absent, being out of town. Mr. Howard G. Slagle, Clerk of the Election Board, presented the certi- fieation of the results of the Election held May 6, 1958, which were as follows: A tmtal of 35 ballots were voted. For Mayor-Commissioner, Arthur Eypel received............35 votes. For Vice-Mayor-Commissioner, R. E. Breckinridge received 35 •mtes. Signature list of those who voted in the election. Specimen copy ®f the Official Ballot. IIpon eaanination, the Election Boards Certification and the accom- panying papers were found to be is order and correct and the meabers of the Town Commission found theme to be so. Thereupon, Cc~s. Hoble moved for adoption of Resolution 81 declaring the official results of the Election.-The mot on was seeonld- ed by Comm. Breckinridge and adapted by the affirmative votes of Cc~m~rs Bertash, Breckinridge, Eypel and N©ble. There was no dissent. Resolution #81 appears on the f®llowing page, page 2 of these minutes.
