QUARTERLY MEETING MINUTES

Chairman Harold B. Cohen called the Quarterly Meeting to order in
Commission Chambers a 9:30 A.M.
Deputy Town Clerk called the roll. Present were Chairman Harold B.
Cohen, Vice Chair Joseph A. Sarubbi, Secretary Jane Rayner, and
Members David Yarosh and Herbert J. Lewin. John J. Sorrell was
absent.
Also present were Attorney Gorman, Building Official James Du Vall,
members of the general public.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Upon MOTION by MRS. RAYNER/MR. YAROSH„ the minutes of the January
24, 1997 Quarterly Meeting were unanimously approved.
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Duvall spoke on the procedure for Code Enforcement violations.
Sue Ambridge, Manager at Braemer Isle, explained the process her
office uses when residents are having work done in their units.
She has a concern about contractors performing work in the units
and not being registered with the town.
Mr. Lewin suggested a letter be generated by the Town Commission to
all condo managers/owners and residents of single family homes,
stating what work is and is not required by the Town to have
permits. Mr. Duvall will draft a letter for the Commission to
review.
Upon MOTION by MR. YAROSH/MR. LEWIN, a letter will be
drafted to be presented for the Town Commission' s review,
stating what residential work needs to be permitted, and
any other stipulations upon having work performed in a
home.
Roll call met with unanimous vote.
The next Quarterly meeting is scheduled for July 16 at 9:30 a.m.
With no further business to come before the Board at this time,
MOTION to adjourn was made by MR. SARUBBI/MR. YAROSH at 10:35 a.m.
