Zwick called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. Also in attendance were Dean H. Luce, John J. Pagliaro, John L. Papera, Sydel Frohlich, Carol Frankel and new member Martin Sahn Also in attendance was Building Official Bob Dawson and members of the general public. This meeting was called to hear the following code enforcement violations: Case No. 2003-01: Yara H. Lopez 3224 S. Ocean Blvd. Unit 109 . Failing to obtain building permits for remodeling work. CHAPTER 6 ARTICLE III; BUILDING CODE Mrs. Lopez's situation is such that she hired an electrical contractor who was not licensed or registered with the Town, nor were the appropriate permits obtained. The Board ordered her to hire a licensed contractor within two weeks of June 18, 2003 in • order to secure permits for work being done. The Board shall readdress subject violation at its July 16, 2003 Quarterly Meeting. Case No. 2003-03: Bel Air Place Condo Association c/o Joseph Finocchiaro, Registered Agent 1019 Bel Air Drive Illegal structure/addition to existing building. Building and electrical work performed without a permit. Side yard setback violation. CHAPTER 6 pRTIC1F III; BUILDING CODE. Bel Air Place Condo Association was ordered to come into compliance on or before June 25, 2003. If that compliance is not met, Bel Air Place Condo Assoc. shall pay a fine of $250 per day for each day the violation(s) continue to exist. Other residents of the association shall be notified of this violation. Case No. 2003-04: Triplex Investment P.O. Box 810264; Boca Raton, FL Mooring of boat beyond property lines. CHAPTER 30.68(8)(4); ZONING CODE • Code Enforcement Board • Wednesday, June 18. 2003 Page 2 of 2 Mr. Sacks of Triplex Investment stated that he had come into compliance but did not notify the Town prior to this date. Triplex Investment shall place in future leases a covenant regarding Town code pertaining to boats; maximum boat size; and that tenant will assume responsibility for any fees incurred should a fine be issued. Triplex shall place a demarcation on dock noting property lines. The board noted that Mr. Sacks had come into compliance with this violation prior to this hearing. Case No. 2003-06: June G. Wagner 1119 Highland Beach Drive, Unit 1 Failure to obtain building permits for screen addition work. CHAPTER 6 ARTICLE III; BUILDING CODE This violation had come into compliance prior to this hearing. ADJOURNMENT • With no further business to come before the Board, MOTION to adjourn was made by MR.
