1958.12.02_TC_MinutesDecember 2, 198 Minutes. Highland Beach Town Commission. ~~~~X~7~9~. (A regular monthly meeting.) The meeting was called to order at 7:15 p.m. by Mayor F'ypel. Also pre- . sent were C ommtrs Bertash, Noble and Winston and Town Mgr. Hertwig. Comm. ~$sekinridge was absent being out of town. Minutes of the meeting of November 4 and 5, 1958 were read and approved on motion of Comm. Noble, seconded by Comm..Winston,and the affirmative votes of Commis Bertash, E`ypel, Noble and Winston. There was no dissent. There was some general discussion about the matter of sand flies but it was agreed that not much could be done except to keep as much pressure as possible on the Bounty authorities to keep up the spraying program. There was discussion about the` matter of excessive speed of motor ve- hicles through the Town and the Town Manager was requested to arrange for replacement of the speed linit signs. i~ f There was discussion about the parking situation at the construction site of Highland Towers. Mayor Eypel reported that he had taken the matter up with the construction foreman and that in future it was a- greed that cars would not be parked closed than five feet to the edge of the paving on Al A.
