Chair Firtell noted how successful the event was, and thanked all the members for
their involvement and help. A letter was read from Mayor Hagelmann to the members.
(letter attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.)
Thank you letters will be sent to the organizations who donated food, and to the
volunteers.
Sponsorship Form:
. Currently before Town Commission at their upcoming Workshop, and hopefully will be
approved at the next Regular Meeting. Mrs. Altman mentioned a resident who may be
willing to open their home to a tour/cocktail reception. She will look into this further.
Volunteer(s)/Form: Forms need to be refined, with activities and areas of interest for
volunteers put in alpha order. There will be something on Channel 19 requesting
volunteers, and a flyer will be generated. There was discussion re removing Society
from the Board's title, being just "Cultural Board". Chair Firtell will speak to Mr.
Sugerman about this. Stairway to the Arts will be eliminated from the form, but be used
at a later time, perhaps for a fundraising event
