The mayor reported verbally on a meeting he had with Mr. G. Fred
Rieman in an effort to delay the noisy work of installing the
canal seawalls in Bel Lido. He advised-that Mr. Rieman said he
owned a minority of the lots involved and that Chadwick ~ Rice of
Killbuck, Ohio would have to be instrumental in arranging any de-
lay in the work. Town Manager reported that he met with Mr, Bebout
who is co-ordinating the work in Bel Lido and that Mr. .Peter Foglia
was present at the time in Mr. Beboutts office. The essence of the
meting with Mr. Bebout and Mr. Foglia was that they would not
agree to defer the work but that they would do everything possible
to prevent the work from being objectionable to our winter guests.
The Town Manager advised that he had succeeded in getting the Del-
' ray Beach ~Nater Dept to remove without cost to us the old ~}." water rl1e~er
from the six inch main north of the Heal property. That meter had
acted as a bottle-neck on several occas~ons when, in emergencies,
we had received a temporary water supply from Delray Beach.
~' The Town Manager~dvised that he had talked with the supt of the
~?redging operations for deepening the F.I.N.D. about the security
of our water main crossing. They said they would use all passible
measures to avoid damage to our crossing, that they had carefully
marked the position of the crossing. It is believed that they have
completed all dredging in the vi~ainity of our crossing and that
the danger to our main is now past.

the Kirk &,/Hole residence at 3921 So. .Ocean Drive. and that the Del
