'Ehe recessed meeting was called to order by Mayor ~ackman at 11:00 AM on September 7th, 196~+.:~Commissioners, Hackman, Bunn, Jones and John- son and Town Manager Dailey were present, Commissioner Noble was absent. The 1g6~+ tax roll was studied and discussed. The complete tax roll figures showed; GROSS VALUATION OF ALL PROPERTY 5 505 060 00 LESS EXEMPTIONS (Homestead & Widow) g0 500 00 NET TAXABLE PROPERTY: 5 41~F 560 00 No persons questioned or objected to the assessment roll but it was agreed that the Town Manager should have the 196+ tax roll available for inspection by any properly interested parties who might wish to examine or protest the assessments. It was also agreed that this tax roll inspection or examination should be made available from Septetr~bet 7th to 1~Fth 1g6~+ and any protests during that period would be cons3~- ered and acted on at the next regular commission meeting. The fiscal year 1965 tentative budget with all commission members participating in the discussion met with approval but due to various changes in the town management program and the work and expense to y rehabilitate the water plant it was decided that the Commission shotkld meet again prior to adoption of the final report. •• By general agreement the meeting adjourned at 12:15 PM.
