• MINUTES: SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN COMMISSION - SEPTEMBER 1, 1973 - 2:10 P.M.
The meeting was called by the Mayor, Vice Mayor and Commissioner Gilday.
Present were Mayor Horton, Vice Mayor Dent, and Commissioners Gilday and Joy;
Commissioner Mumford was absent.
The purpose of the meeting was to consider:
ORDINANCE N0. 214 - 60 Day Building Moratorium excepting single-family dwellings,
including provisions of Ordinance No. 213 providing for a variance from the strict
application or effects of Emergency Ordinance 209 apply to this Emergency Ordinance.
Mayor Horton read the ordinance and it was discussed and , as amended, was adopted
on a first reading. The motion for adoption was offered by Commissioner Gilday,
and Vice Mayor Dent seconded. The Emergency Ordinance was unaminously approved by
Mayor Horton, Vice Mayor Dent, and Commissioners Gilday and Joy.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:00 P.M.
